You will find thousands of articles and books that talk about subject. Most of time, you will find same solutions rehashed over and over.

1. Answer Your Email Promptly.

It is totally amazing amount of time it takes for many to answer their mail. I'm talking about some of so called Gurus in their field.

I write a question asking about their product or service, I expect answer in a reasonable amount of time. They don't have time to answer, I guarantee you, there are a hundred other people working same type business that would love chance to have my business.

I don't care how great your product or service is, you don't respond to people and they will take their business elsewhere.

2. Keep Testing

Things start working fairly well and many business owners become content.

One of those mantras is back end sales.

I don't think high failure rate of new online businesses is due to lack of back end sales. The real problem is they aren't making sales period.

I'm guilty myself. I tell new marketers to diversify, start a newsletter, and work on getting those back- end sales.

Well I've been wrong.

The first thing any new marketer should be focusing on is making a sale. The old adage is still true, "Even journey of 1,000 miles, begins with first step."
