Magnetic Therapy, how and why magnets effect the body.

Written by Barry Dench

Have you ever read or have been told that "it is not known why magnets work"? Well, this is untrue. All human and animal bodies are electromagnetic in nature and this fact is closely allied torepparttar chemical balance ofrepparttar 115166 body which can be in either a healthy or an unhealthy state.

It is now known scientifically that a healthy body contains fluids that are slightly alkaline and that an unhealthy body is acidic. A poor diet can makerepparttar 115167 body acidic and in this state all sorts of dis-eases will thrive. (Dr John Millward MD, "Your Life inrepparttar 115168 Balance", available on our website.)

It is also known that at damaged sites inrepparttar 115169 body, exists a positive electrical charge which affects bothrepparttar 115170 chemical balancerepparttar 115171 electrical balance inrepparttar 115172 area resulting in pain. In order to effect healing, repparttar 115173 body's own systems send a negative electrical charge torepparttar 115174 area. (Dr Robert Becker, "The Body Electric")

This healing action ofrepparttar 115175 body is easily restricted by poor diet, lifestyle, alcohol, drugs etc. There is also a lot of evidence of something called "Magnetic Deficiency Syndrome" being a major contributor to restrictingrepparttar 115176 body's ability to respond to illness. I will be looking in depth at this syndrome in a later article.

It is now firmly established that a negative magnetic field, provided by a geomagnetic north pole magnetic field (the same asrepparttar 115177 Earth's North Pole), isrepparttar 115178 most natural way of providing much needed support forrepparttar 115179 body's own immune system.

Dr W Philpott MD, a practitioner of magnet therapy for over 40 years explains that negative magnetic fields oxygenate and alkalise by aidingrepparttar 115180 body's defences and helping to relieve pain. Further, they combat inflammation and infection and enhance deep restorative sleep.

Dealing With Chronic Pain Conditions :: A Simple Guide

Written by D. Herren

Anyone that suffers with a chronic pain condition knows that it not only affectsrepparttar body, but alsorepparttar 115165 mind. Its effect on a sufferers mind can almost be worse thanrepparttar 115166 pain itself. Chronic pain becomes chronic when pain does not go away afterrepparttar 115167 normal healing time allowed. This usually is around 6 months. Acute pain isrepparttar 115168 direct result of an injury or disease. Acute pain heals, chronic pain stays.

It is estimated that nearly 30% ofrepparttar 115169 population suffers with chronic pain. The pain can cause depression and anxiety in most patients. This is only natural. Whenrepparttar 115170 body is fighting pain allrepparttar 115171 time, repparttar 115172 body becomes tense and can react inrepparttar 115173 classic, “Fight or Flight Response”. This natural state of mind and body is a reaction that is embedded in all humans and animals. Whenrepparttar 115174 body is under stress, we react by either “taking flight” or running, or “fighting”.

Getting stuck in this pattern can add torepparttar 115175 pain and suffering. How? If your body is tense and anxiety ridden on a constant basis, usually other problems will occur such as irritable bowel syndrome, pelvic muscle pain, migraine headaches, ulcers, andrepparttar 115176 list goes on and on.

Learning to deal with chronic pain conditions ANDrepparttar 115177 repercussions of it is key.

In order to get pain under control, there are many options for people to choose from. Of course, repparttar 115178 more natural, drug-free methods are recommended. But in most cases, drugs such as Oxycodone may be recommended. (See Oxycodone Online)
