All of following are health hazards.Fatty foods High salt levels Sugar and most artificial sweeteners. Americans now consume roughly 25 times as much sugar and equivalents as was typical around 1900, which is not healthful. Refined sugar, high fructose syrup, and three major artificial "no calorie" sweeteners (aspartame, saccharin, and sucralose) release chemicals into body, and high usage has been implicated in headaches, cancers, lupus, and multiple sclerosis. Anyone wanting to lose weight should not ingest any sweets that are not natural to foods, such as fresh or dried fruits.

At a minimum, walk a mile or more several times a week (or daily) and move arms around to loosen up joints. If you can't walk or ride a stationary bicycle, use a rowing machine, swim, or join wheel chair races. If you can do none of these things, you have my sympathy. I had a young colleague who suffered from polio in child- hood, so one leg was short and supported by a built-up shoe. One day, this person was absent from office, because a lung had collapsed. He should at least have worked up his pulse rate and breathing on a rowing machine, several times per week.
