Amino Acids:I have recently started on a naturopathy programme (www.onlinenaturopath.net). I was drawn to site by a friend who had said that she had been on programme, which involves taking a drink that you mix up at certain times of day, as body has an internal clock and certain functions happen at certain times. Anyway you mix up drink which is mainly Amino Acids, Herbs, Mineals and Vitamins. I wanted to come off Depo Provera, a contraceptive drug given to those who have Endometriosis. It stops periods so you dont get pain. What we dont learn is it stops body's natural cycle too, which is monthly cycle. This is when our body prepares for pregnancy, if we so wish. When we stop this cycle we are interfering with body. Many will not view it from this angle. Many will not know what is happening all they know is that pain has lessened as periods are no longer happening hence endometriosis is dormant. What actually begins to happen is bone marrow dries up, body's natural cycle is thrown off balance and I dont have to mention other problems this can cause such as Osteoporosis.

Your ability to be in tune to hunger is diminished and research shows that sleep-deprived people tend to eat 15% more food than those who get sleep they need. Many go for high- sugar comfort foods, like cookies and candy, for a quick energy boost. In a sleep-deprived state, body will store more calories as fat thinking a crisis is near. Ugh!
