Find Your Remedy

Written by Julie Jordan Scott

Too often these days we are programmed to believe there is constantly a travesty a foot. We are a heartbeat away from disaster, a breath away from destruction and a step off ofrepparttar course to devastation. The natural tendency with this sort of message being portrayed as truth would be to simply give up. To turn ourselves over to victim status, seeing that disaster, destruction and devastation are life's warped rewards. Instead, look towards one of America's most highly favored entrepreneurs fromrepparttar 123839 past, Henry Ford. Mr. Ford said these words: "Don't find fault, find a remedy." In other words, instead of looking atrepparttar 123840 garbage and clucking your tongue, find a solution torepparttar 123841 garbage problem. No, don't hold a bureaucratic committee meeting about this piece of garbage or delegaterepparttar 123842 solutions elsewhere without forethought, spend time inrepparttar 123843 nitty gritty space of creativity: problems and solutions. Predicament and resolution. In Napoleon Hill's classic work, "Think and Grow Rich", one of Andrew Carnegie's Secrets of Success is called "Master Mind" which was defined "coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people forrepparttar 123844 attainment of a definite purpose." How a Master Mind works, in simplest terms, is to userepparttar 123845 brainpower of those people you choose to surround yourself with to create successful conclusions together. Not a group of people put together by happenstance

Live as Royce, the Kid

Written by Julie Jordan Scott

Many years ago lived a farmer who, in addition to raising crops, had a herd of goats who provided his family and community with milk and cheese.

One day, a curious-and-often-getting-himself-in-trouble little kid (the term for young goat) named Royce strayed fromrepparttar herd and found that he had tumbled into a deserted well. Straight down he fell with no apparent way out ofrepparttar 123838 hole.

Royce cried and cried, attractingrepparttar 123839 attention of repparttar 123840 farmer.

After numerous attempts to save Royce, repparttar 123841 farmer could no longer stand his bleating pleas for help so he decidedrepparttar 123842 only thing he could do was to putrepparttar 123843 kid out of its misery and bury it inrepparttar 123844 well.

He invited his neighbors to assist him inrepparttar 123845 painful andrepparttar 123846 only way conceivable wayrepparttar 123847 farmer could see to put an end torepparttar 123848 problem.

Royce stood atrepparttar 123849 bottom ofrepparttar 123850 well, sad and dejected. He was unaware ofrepparttar 123851 farmer's plan was for him. He had grown tired of crying for help. He changed his strategy to deep thinking and trust that he would soon be presented with a solution if he kept his eyes, mind and heart open.

He simply knewrepparttar 123852 tools to his freedom would appear.

He spent time in quiet contemplation, allowing peace to fill him whererepparttar 123853 sadness used to be. He meditated, focusing on his breathing.

As he felt contentment rise from deep within his spirit, he found himself surrounded in raining dirt from above.

He notedrepparttar 123854 dirt with curiosity as he saw his hoofs were quickly covered with its brownness.

He realized something in that moment and took action.

Meanwhile, repparttar 123855 farmer sadly took his shovel and continued to put more dirt intorepparttar 123856 well. He had noticed how quiet it was down inrepparttar 123857 well, and he was beginning to grieve forrepparttar 123858 curious-and-often-getting-himself-in-trouble little kid named Royce.
