FLUORIDE DEBATE CONTINUES.

Written by Alfred Jones

The debate regarding Fluoride continues to rage, is it good for your teeth? or,repparttar teeth of our children. There does not appear to be a survey available, without bias, that goes one way orrepparttar 114880 other.

We could say that Fluoridisation ofrepparttar 114881 water supply is an expensive exercise, because it is only intended for drinking, but is actually being used for washing clothes, cars, used in showers and baths, also for wateringrepparttar 114882 gardens and lawns. Obviously a more cost effective option, would be to supply those that want it, with Fluoride Tablets, then we would not all be forced into consuming it daily and it would not be wasted on gardens, etc.

The Fluoridisation agent used by most water authorities throughoutrepparttar 114883 world is sourced from phosphate fertiliser plants, and is an industrial grade that can contain traces of Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium and other real goodies. also they have never been tested for safety in humans, see http://www.flouridealert.org/phosphate/overview.htm The more expensive pharmaceutical grade of Flouride, sodium salt is seldom used.

Most dentists, for some reason are in favour ofrepparttar 114884 use of fluoride, but, there is a group in Ireland fighting to have it taken out ofrepparttar 114885 water supplies in Ireland, there are over 60 dentists that are members ofrepparttar 114886 group called "Irish Dentists Opposing Fluoridation".

When you consider allrepparttar 114887 chemicals thatrepparttar 114888 authorities already put inrepparttar 114889 water supplies, plus allrepparttar 114890 other chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers, that also run in torepparttar 114891 supply, do we really need to add more.

A True Hero is Gone but will not be Forgotten

Written by Louis Victor

We lost a true American hero this past weekend, Christopher Reeve, He wasrepparttar real “Man of Steel”, he had incredible vision, he used his powers to save people and nothing could stop him. But before he became all of that he was known asrepparttar 114879 actor who played “Superman” in movies.

He was a great actor andrepparttar 114880 most powerful mouthpiece for spinal cord injuries. He becamerepparttar 114881 real “Superman” after his tragic accident in 1995 when he refused to feel pity for himself and maderepparttar 114882 choice to increase public awareness and more action toward spinal cord research. He gave hope to those with disabilities due to spinal cord injuries and his courage was an inspiration to millions worldwide.

The true measure of a person comes at their darkest hour, in his darkest hour he shed light onrepparttar 114883 world. There are still many hurdles to overcome in spinal cord research and withrepparttar 114884 path that was paved byrepparttar 114885 Christopher Reeve Foundation andrepparttar 114886 American Paralysis Association, now known asrepparttar 114887 “Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation”, we have hopes that something may be done inrepparttar 114888 future to allow those that are wheelchair bound to stand up and walk again.
