I live in an area of Australia, where there are large areas of Sugar Cane and Tomatoes growing, farming these crops being one ofrepparttar main industries. The farmers are frequently sprayingrepparttar 114880 crops, with all sorts of chemicals, our water supply originates from a weir onrepparttar 114881 river, when it rains, where does allrepparttar 114882 run off fromrepparttar 114883 farms go, yes, thats right, intorepparttar 114884 river.

I once asked our local authority Health Inspector, Why doesrepparttar 114885 water supply taste so awful? His answer was "Unfortunately, our supply comes from a weir onrepparttar 114886 river, and a river is one of natures drains, so we have to put substancial amounts of chemicals, in torepparttar 114887 supply, to make it fit for human consumption".

We collect rainwater in a 300 gallon tank, which we use for drinking, tea, coffee and cooking purposes, but we do always boil it before using. The normal supply is just used for washing, bathing and watering. Whateverrepparttar 114888 future decisions are on Fluoride, we will not be drinking it, if you have children, I would recommend that you do some research yourself, then make your own decision. I feel that we are giving our children far too many chemicals already, without having any choice.

This cause is a personal one for me having recently lost my brother due to a spinal cord injury. So for several years I had hope that a cure would come and though it may be too late for those that lost their lives it’s not too late for those that still have hope.

Here are some sites of organizations to visit that could give you more information on spinal cord injury and paralysis.

http://www.christopherreeve.org http://www.apssci.org/ http://www.asia-spinalinjury.org/home/index.html http://vet.purdue.edu/cpr/main.html http://www.paralysis.org/ http://www.campaignforcure.org/ http://www.spinalcordinjury.org/

There are many others, too many to list.
