Creatine Monohydrate is an amino acid which occurs naturally in our bodies. Creatine can be found occurring naturally in many meats and is also created byrepparttar liver, pancreas, and kidneys from glycine and arginine.

In addition to this one can supplement their diet with creatine.

Scientific studies have shows that creatine effects high intensity athletic performance, such as sprinting or weightlifting. It has also been shown to have no apparent effect on aerobic (lower intensity) exercise.

Supplementation with creatine has been shown to cause almost immediate weight gain, most of which can be attributed to water retention in one's muscles. Because there is more water being retained in one's muscles while supplementing with creatine it is important to ensure one drink ample water to avoid dehydration
