A Lesson From The Trenches

Written by John Colanzi

Before I became addicted torepparttar internet, one of my hobbies was mail order.

One lesson I learned was that mail order dealers are willing to share their ideas, if you're willing to takerepparttar 121345 time to listen.

I still remember a letter I received from an old timer byrepparttar 121346 name of David. For some reason he decided to share how he got started in mail order.

His story is an amazing account of how to think like a winner.

David's first exposure to mail order was through one of those "How To Make $100 A Day" ads. He sent in his money and eagerly waited for his money making plan.

A few weeks later he received his envelope inrepparttar 121347 mail. He opened it up and low and behold he'd been hustled.

The secret plan turned out to be nothing more than a letter telling him to post classified ads likerepparttar 121348 one he had responded to and sendrepparttar 121349 letter to buyers telling them to dorepparttar 121350 same.

Three Ways to Improve Your Business

Written by Raymond Johnston Jr

As a business owner, I am always trying to find ways to make my business run a little smoother.

You will find thousands of articles and books that talk aboutrepparttar subject. Most ofrepparttar 121344 time, you will findrepparttar 121345 same solutions rehashed over and over.

Here are three that might not be on every list you see.

I imagine it is because they are so simple, but if that'srepparttar 121346 case why are they ignored so often?

Take a look, just might berepparttar 121347 little nudge your business needs.

1. Answer Your Email Promptly.

It is totally amazingrepparttar 121348 amount of time it takes for many to answer their mail. I'm talking about some ofrepparttar 121349 so called Gurus in their field.

I write a question asking about their product or service, I expectrepparttar 121350 answer in a reasonable amount of time. They don't have time to answer, I guarantee you, there are a hundred other people workingrepparttar 121351 same type business that would loverepparttar 121352 chance to have my business.

I don't care how great your product or service is, you don't respond to people and they will take their business elsewhere.

2. Keep Testing

Things start working fairly well and many business owners become content.

Business changes continuously, as do your customers. You have to change with them.
