Desires work in preciselyrepparttar same way. Those that lead us to work hard and aspire to do great things with our lives will lend to createrepparttar 130664 actions we want in life. The more we think positive thoughts and have positive desires, repparttar 130665 less room there is for negatives thoughts and desires. Those positive feelings create motivation. When we are motivated to be positive, we become more positive people. When we are motivated by feelings to do more and BE more, this is a big step to actually becoming more that we already are. Motivation is, after all, derived from how we feel. How motivated are most young people to do their homework? Once they see that doing their homework leads to positive, beneficial rewards, their motivation increases. For example, my 12 year old son was, at one point, failing 6th grade. It looked very much like he was going to have to repeatrepparttar 130666 grade. Instead of using negative reinforcement, I acted in a professional capacity as a Certified Hypnotherapist and created a visual list ofrepparttar 130667 good things that would occur when he passed 6th grade. I lead him through a timeline culminating in his graduation ceremony. I also made a tape for him, which he listened to every night. The results were amazing! Not only did he pass, he raised two F’s to a C and a C+ and two C’s to a B and a B+ So, as we see here, my son’s motivational level was raised by how he felt about doing what was needed. In my son’s case, motivation also created action. He felt inspired to do what needed to be done in order to graduate from Elementary school. If a 12 year old child can find that motivation, any of us can. As can be seen inrepparttar 130668 example, my son’s feelings led to motivation and his motivation led to his ability to create a new reality for himself. He is now attending 7th grade at a wonderful private school. He is learning to scuba dive throughrepparttar 130669 school and hasrepparttar 130670 opportunity to learn to be a pilot, if he so chooses. All of these wonderful things came to him because he choserepparttar 130671 right thought to focus on while banishingrepparttar 130672 negative ones. That positive thought manifested feelings, which created desires and those desires created action. That is how we begin to change our lives. We take one situation at a time, changerepparttar 130673 thoughts surrounding it and create a whole new reality for ourselves. Maria K. Positive thinking on negativity

It’s only natural, isn’t it? We don’t want negativity. We want peace, happiness, joy of life, and love. But do I create joy of life by trying to remove negativity? In my experience, mostly it just leads to more negativity…

Tellingrepparttar negative person not to be negative certainly doesn’t help. Even only ignoringrepparttar 130661 negativity can make things worse. Thinking “I love everyone I meet” doesn’t lead to love if it is being said to suppressrepparttar 130662 part that does not love everyone.

The only thing that does it is love itself. I don’t think love removes or ignores anything at all! Love just is. Love doesn’t fight those who fight. Love doesn’t turn its back on them either. Love embracesrepparttar 130663 battlefield. Love embraces everyone and everything.

Which brings me back to where we started: Boy, would I love to say: “I love everyone I meet.” Only it wouldn’t be completely true. Cause pretty often I just can’t feel that love.

So… So what if I say... it’s OK... My negativity is here to stay. Like a little rock inside of me.

But then... Love is here to stay too! It’s likerepparttar 130664 air, all over, and within me too. (If I let it in, that is. If I don’t stop breathing.)

If I don’t hiderepparttar 130665 rock, love will find it. And love doesn’t want to remove it at all. It loves that rock! (love just can’t help loving, you know).

The rock can feel that... Little by little, without knowing it,repparttar 130666 rock will feel it so much... ... it will become love itself...

If you too have a rock inside you (maybe it's not a rock, it's just something that you don’t like)... Don’t hide it from yourself. Don’t ignore it. Feel it. Feel it for as long as it takes. Give it your love and attention.

Then listen to some loving music (like New Age Music) and take a walk. Neither music nor nature will try to change you. They’ll embrace you. That’s justrepparttar 130667 way it is. Let them love every single part of you.

But, you might say, I can’t possibly remember to be open allrepparttar 130668 time, and just to accept and love my negativity!

Well, you could work with an affirmation like: "I love my negativity too"

But you don’t have to, darling! Don’t worry! YOU ARE ALL RIGHT!

P.S. I still use that affirmation software! I just do it in a different way. I'll tell you about that some other time...
