through arch's small windows.

The area where arch stands is a park in itself with its wide green lawn, walk

ways underneath trees,and its man-made lake. Fronting park is

Missouri river where tour boats sail along.

Lastly, a beautiful underground complex can be found directly beneath arch.

It houses its own museum, theaters, and souvenir stores. Probably, describing

arch wouldn't be enough to characterize this excellent architectural structure of

the 20th century. Seeing it and visiting arch is best thing to do.

Saint Louis is a big city and hotels are available for your stay. Of course

advance online hotel reservations are

the best thing to do. Airline

travel to Saint Louis is also a big possibility to facilitate your

transportation.

Down middle of Zoo was probably my favorite because we got to see Absolutely Apes exhibit. Here you will find orangutans and chimps in action, and in my personal opinion, I think they were trained to entertain visitors. They seem to love attention of all people watching them because they come right up to glass and find funny things to do. The more people point and take pictures, more creative they get.

If you continue down middle of park and go down long escalator, you will run into most popular exhibit at San Diego Zoo, Giant Panda. As you would imagine, this exhibit is always crowded. I had to wait in line about an hour to see a not so giant, but very cute sleeping panda bear. If you have never seen a panda in your life, then I would highly suggest that you check it out. You will probably never see one outside of San Diego Zoo.

The San Diego Zoo is definitely worth a visit, and I would recommend getting there early because it closes pretty early, around 4pm. Fortunately there are tons of things to do within Balboa Park and plenty of nearby places to hang out.
