Selling information on the internet.Written by Robert J Farey

That is about all that I can think of on downside. A lot of people are making a lot of money using affiliate programs. If you go about it in a business like manner you can run several affiliate programs at same time provided that they are all on a similar theme you can set up your own website to advertise then all. That way you can capture names and email addresses of your prospects and customers. You will need to set up your own database and auto-responder but that is not difficult. When you get to this point and you have gained a little experience, obvious step is to obtain resell rights to some books so that you can sell and keep 100% of income that you generate. Affiliate programs are a very good training ground; use them to gain experience and a list of prospective customers. Then is time to branch out on your own and build your business but if affiliate programs are still earning you money via a website, keep them going, they are one of your best assets. Who knows; you may end up with your own affiliate programs, with hundreds of members selling things whilst you claim 50% of profits. Others have done it. Why not you?

It was not long before I had a steady couple of hundred dollars coming in each month. It was working because I was working to a system. If you work system, system will work for you. (I proved it.) What will work with one affiliate program will work with others. I expanded system by signing up to a new affiliate program every two weeks. I set up my own website with links to each of them. It is easier to advertise one website with links to several affiliate programs, than to advertise each one individually. Besides, using your own website it is easy to capture email addresses of your prospects and customers so that you have opportunity to mail them with other offers. I am affiliated to nine companies at present. I was going to aim for a dozen, but I would rather have more time with my grandchildren and their children than have to work that extra hour each week. After all, I am supposed to be retired. I can now afford to send whole family to Disney-land without having to count cost. I work about fifteen hours a week and leave rest to autoresponder, clickbank and PayPal. As long as I can find time to reply to my e-mails and make a few other checks I can do whatever I like, when I like. I can even do it on holiday using my brand new laptop. If my great granddaughter had not told me that I was too old to learn new tricks in first place, I would still be counting pennies and watching television for rest of my days. Hurrah! for younger generation. You are never too old. I proved it. .…..Robjfar……..
