When you start your work day, take a moment and visualize yourself, your product, your company, your advertising, your communications, everything being surrounded in your most loving caring warm nurturing light. Say a little prayer that you want to truly give of your heart and soul on this day. Ask thatrepparttar people who need your gift be shownrepparttar 104017 way to you so that you can bless them with your love and talents. Remind yourself that you are going to lovingly fulfill someone's unmet needs and they will gladly pay you for having done so. Send that joyful intention out to lead you throughout your workday. Let love magnetize your work throughout every stage from creation to sales.

What if you don't ownrepparttar 104018 company or aren't self employed? What then? Your job consists of giving your time and labor away to a boss in exchange for a paycheck. The truth is that this still applies. Long before my mother ever opened up any of her companies, she had to work long hours doing lowly jobs for others. She always infused her work with that same go get 'em attitude and would typically end up in a supervisor position. I remember her telling me that she liked to show up for work at least half an hour early every day just to set up her work station and to make sure she had all of her ducks in a row beforerepparttar 104019 official start time. Bosses love that kind of stuff. Of course she gotrepparttar 104020 promotion. Think about it, if you had two equally talented employees to choose from and one just didrepparttar 104021 basic eight hour day andrepparttar 104022 other came in enthusiastically half an hour early every morning, which would you choose to promote to supervisor? When debating how much to give employees for pay raises, repparttar 104023 enthusiastic employee who puts love and light into their work is always going to be givenrepparttar 104024 biggest possible raise. Bosses are happy to write big fat paychecks to happy upbeat employees who put their heart and soul into their work. If your boss doesn't, then you can apply for a better paying position with another company. Your joyful enthusiasm will pay off eventually.

Love your work. Pick something that you can throw yourself into with joy. Love your product. Createrepparttar 104025 best product, service, or piece of information that you can. Love your company. Be glad forrepparttar 104026 chance to work and earn a living. Love your customers. They are people just like you who have many needs and want to come away feeling special and important. Do these things andrepparttar 104027 money will flow.

What to Do?

1. It is axiomatic that successful training must be tied to expectations for specific improvements in group or individual behaviors: competent training can demonstrate measurable results. 2. Specific improvements must be tied to identified needs; therefore, do a needs assessment before you even enteringrepparttar classroom. Ifrepparttar 104016 company doesnt want to investrepparttar 104017 time and money in an assessment effort, walk away. Needs assessment is critical to any classroom training effort. 3. The needs assessment process should identifyrepparttar 104018 specific improvements that are needed improvements that are measurable and specific. This may seem an elementary point, but it is often missed, or undervalued. 4. Educaterepparttar 104019 internal person who is “driving”repparttar 104020 training effort as to why needs assessments are necessary, what can be expected from them, how they can inform and guide a successful training effort, why performance criteria are necessary, etc. Getrepparttar 104021 internal person and other key stakeholders inrepparttar 104022 organization - involved and committed torepparttar 104023 entire training process. 5. Hold trainees accountable for learning. This can be done in a number of ways, including pre-and post testing of training content, simple verbal quizzes during class, using a paper-and-pencil evaluation exercise as part of class, etc. Some resources for evaluation activities include: Games Teams Play (McGraw-Hill), More Team Games for Trainers (McGraw-Hill), “101 Ways to Make Training Active ” (Jossey-Bass), and “101 Good Ideas: How to Improve Just About Any Process (ASQ Quality Press). 6. Develop mechanisms, with trainees that they can use to continually evaluate their own learning and application of newly-acquired skills.
