Peace On Earth

Written by John Cali

You must be at peace within yourself -- you must have found peace for yourself -- before you will have any peace to give others, before you will ever be able to show othersrepparttar true path to peace.

And when you do create this “peace on earth,” know this: you will all still have different ideas of what peace is. There will never be, in your experience in this lifetime, a time when all will agree on just exactly what peace on earth is.

You did not come into this particular incarnation -- at this particular time in your human history, at this particular time in your own individual history -- to create total peace on earth.

You came to this planet at this time to experience diversity, not oneness. And in that diversity you will all find joy, once you allowrepparttar 122210 diversity to be okay. Once you allow yourself, and all others, to be okay just exactly where you all are right now.

In that allowing, and only in that allowing, will you ever find peace on earth.

Peace will never come to earth unless you see -- and understand -- all will never be one andrepparttar 122211 same. You are all diverse and different.

You will find peace -- total peace -- only in accepting and allowingrepparttar 122212 diversity, and in letting go of your need for sameness.

Peace be with you.

A New Beginning

Written by John Cali

Continued from page 1

January 1 is a new beginning, certainly. But there’s nothing sacrosanct about that date. Every day is a new beginning. Would it not be easier for you to take your lives one day at a time instead of in those daunting one-year chunks?

You don’t know for sure what lies downrepparttar road one year from now. But you do have a better idea of what lies before you inrepparttar 122209 next 24 hours. Wouldn’t it just be easier to take it one step at a time? One day at a time?

New beginnings abound in your lives. January 1 is a new beginning. When you awake inrepparttar 122210 morning is a new beginning. When you go to sleep at night is a new beginning.

In fact, every moment is a new beginning. Every breath you take is a new beginning.

With each breath you are born again. With each breathrepparttar 122211 cells of your body are born again. What existed one breath ago no longer exists with your next new breath.

New beginnings abound with every breath you take. Live inrepparttar 122212 moment, knowing all your power lies in this present moment. All of it!

Make your lists of goals. But do it in a way that feels good and easy to you. This should not be an exercise in seeing how much misery you can create for yourselves.

New year’s resolutions are not usually a good exercise for most of you. And forrepparttar 122213 reasons we’ve already discussed.

Have your goals, certainly. But live them only inrepparttar 122214 present moment, allowing yourselves to simply flow withrepparttar 122215 energy of your life, withrepparttar 122216 life-giving energy your higher selves bring you with every breath you take.

New beginnings abound. Let your next breath be as important a new beginning to you as January 1.
