6.Clear off your desk and concentrate only on one task.

7.Developrepparttar habit of “Do it now!” especially with small tasks before they pile up.

8.Enjoy your time off and allow yourself to stay fresh for your project at hand.

9.Reward yourself alongrepparttar 123303 way. Delaying gratification until your final results is important, but small and targeted rewards can help move you down your path. Target rewards to suit your goals. If your goal is fitness, reward yourself with a new pair of running shoes as you progress.

10.Putrepparttar 123304 concept of incremental advantage on your side. Add more time to your day for a slight edge. Get up a little earlier or take less of a lunch break and over time you will begin to accomplish more than you thought you could. Not only will you get more done, but you will feel better and more in control of your destiny. Adding 1 hour of productive time a day is 365 hours a year that could be invested in your future. This isrepparttar 123305 rough equivalent of an extra 2 weeks a year of productivity.

Successfully getting what you want or achieving a goal boils down torepparttar 123306 following components: STACK- Set your courseTake ActionAccept results as feedbackCorrect course based on feedbackKeep on “Stacking The Logs!” Overcomingrepparttar 123307 temptation of procrastinating and taking action is absolutely essential to this strategy. Having a roadmap without traveling keeps you separated from your destination. Put off procrastinating and start downrepparttar 123308 road to your goals.

Think Like McGyver - Unleash your own super genius!

I also apply another technique adapted from a joke with my children. It started innocently enough. When one of them would ask how I knew something, I would reply that I was not only a genius, but rather a Super Genius! When faced with problems orrepparttar need for creativity, I would use my super genius affirmation to help me. “How hard can this be, after all I am a super genius?” Many challenges were not insurmountable to begin with, they only needed a little creativity or fortitude and a gentle nudge from my super genius alter ego. The joke finally caught up with me. One day my son’s teacher mentioned that she andrepparttar 123302 class had been informed by my son that I was indeed a super genius. I still privately hold on to my super genius status – it helps me getrepparttar 123303 job done. Allowing yourself to have positive and affirming outlook sometimes seems contrary to what is expected of us today. We are taught to belittle ourselves to seem normal lest we seem too full of ourselves. Modesty gets inrepparttar 123304 way and we are expected to play down our strengths and play up our weaknesses to help us fit in. I say, •Summonrepparttar 123305 super genius in you. •Maintainrepparttar 123306 attitude and mindset of a creative problem solver. •Learn to develop opportunity awareness. Think about possible benefits and opportunities hidden even in adversity or hardship. •Learn to visualize any negative situation as an opportunity for metamorphosis like a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. Sometimes creativity calls for looking at a combination of things that you had not thought of previously. When you get into a pinch requiring a healthy dose of creativity, step out of yourself and your normal patterns to ask yourself, “What would MacGyver do?” Withrepparttar 123307 help of inspiration from McDonalds, Disney and MacGyver, allow yourself to find opportunity awareness even inrepparttar 123308 midst of challenges or tragedy.
