Be the Wind Behind Your Sails- Eliminate Your Self-Limiting BeliefsWritten by Beth A. Tabak
Continued from page 1
Be very clear about your intention and follow your heart. Create intention of where you want to go and what you want, yet not so much that you lose sight of opportunities and possibilities that show up around you. If you want to increase your possibilities, increase your centers of influence. The centers of influence being people that you partner with in order to help each other. When you are crystal clear about where you are going, you are better able to educate others so that they can assist you. By way, remember to revel in journey. As your journey leads to stretching outside of your comfort zone, choose goals that you are confident you can reach. When you set small goals that you know you can attain you set yourself up for success. You create a track record, build confidence, and increase momentum. People around you can see and feel energy flowing. These many small successes one-by-one will be wind behind your sails to quiet your inner critic and eliminate those self-limiting beliefs. With each small success your wind will gain strength, and before you know it you will be gliding to new and exciting places. So I request you go for it and set first goal...Starting Now! | | I Love That...Shift Your Attitude to Gratitude and Stifle Your Inner CriticWritten by Beth A. Tabak
Continued from page 1
This all happened naturally and yet shifts are very clear. In beginning I am very focused on exercise and self absorbed...then shift to gratitude while still looking inward. When I looked up and noticed a plane flying above, it shifted me to gratitude with regard to others. When I heard traffic I thought...what’s good about that?...and immediately remembered all people I have talked to lately who are out of work. Finally, gratitude in fullest expression of all that I am. This is not meant to sway anyone in their views, only to give you opportunity to try “I love that...” phrase and see where it takes you. If you are feeling challenged in your work outs, in day to day life, or you just want to take living to a higher level, use your 5 senses to take you away. See appreciatively, listen intensely, smell deeply, taste using each and every taste bud, and feel positive energy of what is going on inside and around you. Chances are you will find an abundance of things to be grateful for that you can get excited about...Starting Now! Taking Action: When your inner critic is getting best of you...make a change in your thought process. Try “I Love That...” phrase and see where it takes you. Really use your 5 senses to experience life a little more deeply... surround yourself or just notice beautiful things around you that you love, bring great smells into your life, wonderful music, most comfortable fabrics, hug often, and savor taste of simplest thing like a juicy apple. Feel free to send your thoughts and comments. I would love to hear from you! Copyright 2002, Beth A. Tabak. All rights reserved.
