All That Glitters Is Not Winning! For The Birds You Say?

Written by Richard Vegas

Become armed torepparttar teeth withrepparttar 123481 "effort" attitude in mind, not winning at all costs, then, if all you end up with is ants in your pants, you won't feel like you're one French fry short of a happy meal.

A Force To Be Reckoned With!

Losing is NOT failure! Burn that in your memory. Anytime you test yourself, sorry to say, you will lose a percentage ofrepparttar 123482 time. But, that is not failure! That is only a face a mother could love. Nah.. I'm just kidding, don't you get mad at me. Keep smiling now. :>)

That percentage of times you lose is only to make you smarter, wiser, and more compassionate, not to make you blow your stack, and confess "that's just my dumb luck", and go looking for a good place to lie down and have a heart attack.

I'm not saying you should be a good loser now. Because face it, a good loser is still a loser. Don't ever develop a loser mindset. Always say everyday, "it's ok to lose, but I'm a winner! This little voice in your head will keep your attitude adjusted inrepparttar 123483 right direction and, keep you focused on your efforts and not on your conclusions.

READ MY LIPS: You Can't Control Your Conclusions!

All you can do is control your efforts! The three rules of real estate are location, location, location. The three rules of losing are learning, learning, learning. You NEVER learn from your successes. You only learn from your losses.

Let me ask you a question! Are you good at something, I mean really good? Maybe golf, tennis, basketball, etc. If you are, do you remember when you reached a plateau? Did you notice howrepparttar 123484 game became boring? Like old hat? What did you do then?

You had to move up a little bit. You had to reach and struggle forrepparttar 123485 next level. Then what happened? Probably you began losing some. Now that was a strange experience for you wasn't it? Up till then you had been tucked safely away in your comfort area and got bored.

Bored To Tears!

When we test ourselves like this, repparttar 123486 experience will be frustrating, challenging, exciting and yet fulfilling. You will lose, you will try again, you will lose again, you will try again and you will win. But,repparttar 123487 hardest road to that win will be withrepparttar 123488 attitude of winning at all costs.

Why? Becauserepparttar 123489 total focus is onrepparttar 123490 outcome, notrepparttar 123491 effort. Have you ever seen John McEnroe blow up in a tennis match? That behavior focused onrepparttar 123492 outcome. Have you ever seen someone lose in a contest and go cheerfully torepparttar 123493 winner and congratulate them with all smiles? That behavior is focused on effort.

It's ok to lose, but I'm a winner! Say it everyday and visualizerepparttar 123494 word "winning" or "winner", entering into your mind and flowing all through your body.

Follow Your Heart!

Out of losing will come some of your greatest successes. Out of losing will come some of your greatest triumphs. By learning how to lose, you will not be defeated by defeat. It's a Wonderful Life

I also decided to develop my conscious or unconscious skills. I studied NLP, Timeline, Covey techniques and many more. I found all of these techniques fascinating.

I enthusiastically traveled bothrepparttar healing and practitioner routes. After three years I discovered, they wererepparttar 123480 same route. As I grew within myself I discovered they were all parts of a toolkit to help inrepparttar 123481 process of healing.

It was always about my personal growth. Whether I was working upon myself or another person, I was always facing a part of my own transition. Whateverrepparttar 123482 issue, I felt that when I was ready, I was always supplied withrepparttar 123483 true answer. I often did not understandrepparttar 123484 question posed, but trusted inrepparttar 123485 answer. The gift, my faith began to take on a more powerful role in my life.

People ask me what has changed in my life. All I can say is that I have experienced and continue to experience greater feelings of peace, joy and happiness than ever before in my life.

I felt my passed was spent swimming againstrepparttar 123486 current. Now I spend a great deal of time in still warm waters. At times I also experiencerepparttar 123487 joy of being ‘inrepparttar 123488 flow' and moving withrepparttar 123489 current; an astonishing experience.

If I get down, it is only for short periods before I bounce back. Inrepparttar 123490 past depressions stayed with me for days or even weeks. In fact as I look back with hindsight upon my earlier life I believe I felt depressed for most of it.

I have stopped blaming other for events that happen in my life and take responsibility for every aspect of my life. I sometimes knee-jerk into blame, but I soon recover and see it differently. A most empowering feeling

As I felt many ofrepparttar 123491 fears and worries leave my life, I was better able to be me and empathize with others.

My role was only ever to heal myself. Also to help others, if I can, dorepparttar 123492 same.

Many of us travel a path of pain and depression. Whilst buried in this illusion, many just wish to create or own physical demise, as I did.

If you are in this place there is another way. You do not have to develop a life threatening illness to begin change. It is up to you.
