1. Ask to be removed, and if they do, then do it.
2. Sign up.
Second example. You are an artist with an art gallery. (we'll use this site as an example http://www.hayleybanteaux.com). This site is still work in progress, however, this is what she is what she could do. She is actually working on two ways to gather a visitor's email address.
1. She can provide a "Special Viewing List" where people, who provide their email address, will be notified and have access to a "special viewing" of her new piece before galleries or others see it.
2. She can also offer a free Report focusing on how to care for your artwork. Again, for
price of an email address, a visitor can gain access to this instant Report.
Do you see where I am getting at here? Visitors will NOT always buy on
spot and that's ok. As long as you gain an email address and provide them with good quality information, on a consistent basis, you still have
potential for a sale...eventually!
Here is a tip about your download. ALWAYS remember It's
email address that you want. Don't make
mistake that many people make. They offer a free eBook and it is an instant download and they never bothered to get an email address…how do you follow up without an email address?
It's like marketing to a ghost! For your Reports/eCourses, use an Autoresponder. You get
email address and
Autoresponder will take care of
rest.
Here is
one I use:
A1eBiz - http://www.a1ebiz.com/affiliates/t.php?rid=45
For an eBook set up a page that gives a brief overview of
book and have a little email form that captures
address and an Autoresponder message is sent with
download link.
See how easy it is??
So, Which are you going to do? Keep going
way you are and leave it to chance that visitors will actually bookmark and come back to your site?
Or… Are you going to focus and maximize your marketing efforts and gear it towards ALL your visitors not just your buyers?
