1 Place Where The Grass Is Always Greener!Written by Gordon Bryan

Let’s take for example difference between being single and being in a relationship… I’ve experienced both, I’m currently single. When you are single, it’s very easy to long for all good bits of a relationship, passion, warmth, sharing. Before you get too jealous though, don’t forget expenses, rows, fighting over remote and bedcover, etc. Also, don’t forget wonderful freedom and opportunities that exist for single person, which people in relationships can only dream of! And, of course, that’s exactly what they will do, because they’re looking at *your* grass! So, c’mon, don’t worry too much about what other people have, concentrate on what you have, concentrate on your own efforts, your own goals, your own abundance. If you do this, when your neighbour wants you to admire his astro-turf, you nod politely, and smile to yourself, safe in knowledge that grass is actually greener on *your* side!

We still think worst though, mainly due to our upbringing, i.e. “ be careful”, and “don’t do that!” I bet you remember hearing those when you were little. Your subconscious mind *certainly* does! We’re talking about years of conditioning here, is not easy to push against our comfort zone, and anyone who says it is, they are just plain wrong. Yes, it’s hard, but here’s good news. Firstly it gets easier more we do it. Secondly, once we learn to focus on positive possibilities of change rather than negative ones, life becomes an adventure, and far less scary. If we try and avoid change, we won’t succeed. It comes to us anyway, and we then cower and shy away. It really isn’t anything to be afraid of, so instead of waiting for change to catch you up, how about taking control, being in charge of change, and accepting it with a smile, as something new, progress!
