When Your Ideal Feeling Seems Far AwayWritten by Rebecca Hanson

Rebecca@YouCanHaveItAll.com Recently I was asked this question: "I know how I WANT to feel--much different than I do now. How can I vibrate my ideal feeling when my current feelings are very low?" This student was realizing that when distance between your ideal feeling and your current feeling is too great, it doesn't feel very good. Immediately a picture began to take shape in my mind and I asked this student to imagine a 'time-line' which looks like 'bar-bells'--with her default feeling on left and her ideal feeling on right. Then I asked her to place a minus sign under default feeling and thre plus signs under ideal feeling. I drew something like this: Take a moment to draw this diagram on a piece of paper. Now, close your eyes, take a deep breath and really feel your ideal feeling (such as love, joy, excitement or playfulness.) Open your eyes and count to three, then close your eyes and notice how you are feeling right now. Come back to your time-line and place an X about 1/3rd of way from left, and place a second X 1/3rd distance from right. Like this:

Before I explain why a minute of Deliberate Attraction is better than none, I'd like to begin by giving a definition of The Law of Attraction. Definition of Law of Attraction: I attract to myself, whatever I give my focus, attention, or energy to; whether wanted or unwanted. It is important to understand that The Law of Attraction operates in every moment. Right now, in this very moment, each of us is offering a vibration and The Law of Attraction is matching that vibration and giving us more of it; whether or not we are offering that vibration deliberately or non-deliberately. As definition says, whether wanted or unwanted, we attract more of whatever vibration we offer in every moment. When it comes to our vibration, whether or not they are deliberately offered, or non-deliberately offered, and whether or not our vibration attracts to us something we want or don't want, The Law of Attraction is still paying attention and operating in exactly same way---in EVERY moment. Ideally, we will want to become more deliberate offer-ers about vibrations we offer. When we become deliberate about what we give our focus, attention, and energy to, we are practicing Deliberate Attraction! Here is an easy 4-stage cycle to help you understand why Deliberate Attraction is an important skill to practice. Stage #1: You observe what you are attracting in any moment of your life. Stage #2: While observing what you are attracting, you are offering a corresponding vibration.
