What are You Thinking in Your Heart?

Written by Daniel N.Brown

What is going on in your mind? Are you thinking thoughts of peace, prosperity, and happiness? Or, are you thinking thoughts of doom and gloom?

A person can tell what goes on inrepparttar mind of someone else byrepparttar 128784 very way they walk, repparttar 128785 way they talk, repparttar 128786 way they carry themselves, and their manner of dress. Everything about them reflects their way of thinking.

A slovenly carriage is an indication of slovenly thinking, whereas an alert, upright carriage isrepparttar 128787 outward sign of inward strength and confidence. What a person exhibits outwardly, they are inwardly because a person isrepparttar 128788 product of their own thoughts. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7)

This “thinking” referred to in Proverbs 23:7 is not a conscious thinking as most people believe. That would berepparttar 128789 “thinking” in repparttar 128790 mind. It isrepparttar 128791 thinking that takes place inrepparttar 128792 heart. Your heart isrepparttar 128793 center of your being. It isrepparttar 128794 subconscious mind.

Where is your faith? Is it aimed at garbage? You might say, “Well I don’t want garbage in my life!” You right! Consciously, you don’t. But, behind your conscience mind is your subconscious mind that functions according to your true beliefs.

Your true beliefs are a sum total of all of your accumulated experiences overrepparttar 128795 course of your life. They create your expectations for future experiences, and your expectations are equivalent to your faith. Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, “According to your faith, let it be done unto you.”

Acknowledging the Existence of Your Soul

Written by John Sherman

Talking about your “soul” andrepparttar deeper things in life is so frequently considered as spun out or weird in modern, take-away-eating, order-it-on-the-internet life, but if you are one of these people, you’ll find that letting go of socialistic trends like these will free you in a way that you simply cannot be freed in a materialists world.

The end result is inner peace that no material possession could ever come close to. No, really.

How do I acknowledge its existence?

It starts by simply observing your own nature, orrepparttar 128782 actions and reactions you exhibit to different situations. Your thoughts from day to day, loves and hates, etc.

Ask questions. Not aboutrepparttar 128783 happenings of creation, but internal questions. Question your nature, and in doing so you will gain a greater knowledge of self.

Your soul isrepparttar 128784 part of you that makes you unique. Remember, your body is quite common. There are over 6 billion examples onrepparttar 128785 planet at this particular point in time, and at least on a biological level, they all function inrepparttar 128786 same way.

It is your mind that separates you from those around you, and mind is manifest. Your mind is your souls mind, and your strongest link to your soul.

Meditate.

It's simple.

Just quiet yourself and allow thoughts to bubble torepparttar 128787 surface. Don’t dwell on them. Let them go and move on. Clearing your mind will open your eyes torepparttar 128788 existence of your own soul and those ofrepparttar 128789 people around you. To be conscious of your soul is to be on a higher level of consciousness.

Why would I want to acknowledge its existence?

To put it simply, repparttar 128790 world we live in is at least as spiritual as it is physical. If you are confined withinrepparttar 128791 boundaries of just one then you are missing out on at least half of what life has to offer. By simply acknowledging your soul, you're enabling yourself to become aware ofrepparttar 128792 greater things in creation and life.

So many people move around from day to day only believing what they see and hear around them. Life to these people is temporary. Their meaning is to acquire as many physical possessions as possible, as this life -- consisting of but one lifetime -- has no definite meaning and hence they are forever filled with a sense of why. Why am I here? Why do I feel empty? Why do I have everything yet have nothing atrepparttar 128793 same time?
