Want Big Profits? Show Up Everywhere Your Customers Surf!

Written by Jack Humphrey

There is a certain credit card company that is famous forrepparttar slogan "We're Everywhere You Want To Be!"

That is a darn good slogan for Power Linkers, because it hitsrepparttar 120045 nail onrepparttar 120046 head. When you are marketing anything, of course your best bet is to reach every possible customer for your product with your message, right?

But if you are not a big multi-national corporation with millions of dollars to spend on flashy advertising, what are you going to do?

MORE... Well, repparttar 120047 internet is whererepparttar 120048 little guys have had equal footing withrepparttar 120049 big corporations fromrepparttar 120050 beginning. Rememberrepparttar 120051 big tech company crash when thousands of over-financed upstart internet companies wentrepparttar 120052 way ofrepparttar 120053 dodo? Who could forget that, right?

Those guys thought they could dominate on OUR turf if they threw money atrepparttar 120054 problem like they do inrepparttar 120055 offline world of television, radio, magazines, and newspapers. Andrepparttar 120056 experiment failed miserably. Only a few companies got through that fiasco, but not without some deep scars.

Allrepparttar 120057 while, people like me were watching and learning. And I realized then and there thatrepparttar 120058 battle for monster profits onrepparttar 120059 web was going to be waged guerilla fashion.

Low budget, no budget, repparttar 120060 less money and more creativity involved, repparttar 120061 better! And that is how Power Linking was born. And that's why Power Linkers are "..everywhere you want to be."

If you putrepparttar 120062 science of linking to use in a massive, systematic way, by studying your potential customers' habits and using this knowledge to be "everywhere they surf," you cannot help but blow your competition out ofrepparttar 120063 water.

There are billions of web pages onrepparttar 120064 net. There are fewer super-high traffic places onrepparttar 120065 net, but still a pretty mind-boggling amount. How many of them are you on?

How many sites with over 1 million visitors a month link to your website? Did you even think that was possible until I askedrepparttar 120066 question?

How well do you know your customers and their surfing habits? If you sell horse blankets and many of your potential customers surfrepparttar 120067 Number 1 horse lovers site online, what can you do to get exposure for your site there?

And if you say "Spend money on advertising" I am going to ask you to re-read what you just read above!

Get it out of your head completely, right now and for good, that you have to have money to make money. That you have to make a huge investment in hard cash to getrepparttar 120068 exposure your site needs. That point could not have been made clearer byrepparttar 120069 tech crash!

And when you don't have money to lose onrepparttar 120070 mistakes already laid out before you on a silver platter, it is a cardinal sin to spend a DIME on advertising!

Power Linkers show up everywhere our customers go. At least, that isrepparttar 120071 goal. On your way to showing up absolutely everywhere your potential market will see you, you will become a millionaire. That's a flat fact. So I doubt many people get to testrepparttar 120072 theory to it's absolute end.

Arrgh. . .Those Stupid Internet Marketing Cliches Are True!

If you have read any internet marketing resource ever created, you have no doubt seen simple, one sentence, pot-shot solutions to all of your problems: You will only be successful if you think you are successful. You will make money if you work hard. Think outside ofrepparttar 120044 box. Content is king!

. . .If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

How can this possibly help me, you think. These people are just crack-pots! They do not actually have any real help to offer me--just general advice, which really has no practical implications for me and for my business.

This is exactly what I thought and this is now what I see newer marketers and affiliates saying. I was always skeptical of general advice. I thought success stories that ended with an exhortation to "work hard" and "make plans" and "think outside ofrepparttar 120045 box" were just plain worthless.

What I now know (what I learned as I slowly became more successful) is that this "common wisdom"--which I initially regarded as foolish and too unspecific--was actuallyrepparttar 120046 best advice available onrepparttar 120047 internet and it didn't even cost me money.

These simple cliches make uprepparttar 120048 best possible over-arching structure of complex business and marketing plans. They arbitraterepparttar 120049 decisions ofrepparttar 120050 most successful internet marketers. And when marketers decide to be short-sighted and deny these cliches for quicker returns, they are smacked-down and brought to reality or ruin byrepparttar 120051 manifestation of these cliches.

As someone who has received many brutal, unrelenting smack-downs fromrepparttar 120052 Internet, I can verify this.

So what is it about these cliches that give them such universal, lasting truth?--They ignore hype. They ignore nuance. They don't marry a fad. And most importantly, they are results-oriented.

They don't give yourepparttar 120053 specifics. They tell you what to focus on--broadly--and allow you to findrepparttar 120054 best way to nuance, build, and strengthen that simple concept, which ultimately should to be your choice, anyway. Just think: if we all tried to occupyrepparttar 120055 same niches, optimize forrepparttar 120056 same keywords, and advertise onrepparttar 120057 same sites, then none of us would be making money (and this is actually why quite a few of us do not make money).
