I was reading one of those weekend inserts in
newspaper and came across something I knew I needed to share with you.Let me give you some 'history' and then we'll rocket forward.
For many years I used to be a "No" person.
"What does that mean?"
Here's what it means.
When people used to ask me to get involved in things, look into things, etc…my initial reaction was always NO.
"Want to check out this opportunity?" No.
"Want to go to this event?" No.
And what happened was, for about 7+ years, I was going nowhere in my life.
Job to job. My dream was dying and people around me were losing belief in me.
It wasn't a happy time.
But then something happened.
Before I tell you what happened, I want you to read this from Richard Branson,
well-known billionaire, which was in
weekend paper.
"Just Say Yes. My colleagues call me Dr. Yes. When somebody said, " I can build a balloon that can fly on
jet stream so we can be
first people to cross
Atlantic," it sounded so wonderful that [I wanted to] do it myself. Life is one big learning process, and if you say no all
time, it's going to be fairly dull."
