Truth Written by Joyce C. Lock
(suggested midi - Do You Know Where You're Going?) He is Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Only fear Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. All paths of Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. For word of Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Behold, thou desirest truth in inward parts: and in hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. For thy mercy is great unto heavens, and thy truth unto clouds. Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of truth. Selah. Justice and judgment are habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Before Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge earth: he shall judge world with righteousness, and people with his truth. For Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and truth of Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye Lord. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth. Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Which made heaven, and earth, sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon table of thine heart: By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by fear of Lord men depart from evil. Buy truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. Open ye gates, that righteous nation which keepeth truth may enter in. That he who blesseth himself in earth shall bless himself in God of truth; and he that sweareth in earth shall swear by God of truth; because former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. And thou shalt swear, The Lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory. Run ye to and fro through streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon it. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them abundance of peace and truth.
| | My NameWritten by Joyce C. Lock
God said unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in way, and to bring thee into place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane name of thy God: I am Lord. And they shall put my name upon children of Israel; and I will bless them. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto uttermost part of heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto place that I have chosen to set my name there. I am LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Now therefore, what have I here, saith LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith LORD. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at first, and see what I did to it for wickedness of my people Israel. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in midst of my people.
