Tools of Power

Tools of Power by Alan Tutt http://www.KeysToPower.com

Inrepparttar long history of religion, magick, and spirituality, there have been many different tools used to try and direct Power or gainrepparttar 122198 cooperation of spirits. These tools have taken many different forms, yet their purpose andrepparttar 122199 reason they worked have all beenrepparttar 122200 same.

Some ofrepparttar 122201 earliest tools of Power were pieces of wood, animal teeth, claws, shells, and other things that were found or collected. Part ofrepparttar 122202 reasoning that these tools may have a spiritual influence wasrepparttar 122203 connection they had to living things. Life has always been consideredrepparttar 122204 ultimate expression of Power.

Soon, however, other natural things were associated with Power, things like crystals, stones, and metals. Especially those that had a shiny surface, or were in some way out ofrepparttar 122205 ordinary. Of course, repparttar 122206 progression of items associated with Power didn't stop there, and began to include shapes, symbols, words, and other more abstract things.

In general, most of these tools of Power were simply kept as an amulet, withrepparttar 122207 hope thatrepparttar 122208 Power ofrepparttar 122209 amulet would somehow rub off and create good luck forrepparttar 122210 person wearing or carrying it. Asrepparttar 122211 'technology' of spirituality became more sophisticated, repparttar 122212 basic elements (wood, stone, crystals, and so on) were combined into pieces of jewelry, 'rods of Power', and even idols. And of course, repparttar 122213 methods of using these new tools became more sophisticated as well, growing into full fledged rituals with dances, chants, costumes, and more.

But what makes these tools work? Do these tools somehow attractrepparttar 122214 beneficial attention of spirits (or ofrepparttar 122215 Supreme Being itself)? Is there some higher scientific laws at work, like electromagnetism or radiation? Or is it all a matter of suggestion, andrepparttar 122216 resulting effects of blind faith? The proponents of each theory are able to demonstrate viable evidence for each.

Of course, before we can answer this question, we must come to some understanding of whererepparttar 122217 Power that is being used by these tools is actually coming from. Although it cannot be proved (if it could, why would we even need to discussrepparttar 122218 idea), it is generally accepted that true Power comes from a spiritual Source. The scientific community will generally identify this Source as a natural phenomenon like electricity or gravity, but even so, there is a Source of this Power.

Science is actually closer to knowingrepparttar 122219 truth than anyone realizes. Quantum physics is finding that all matter is composed of a basic essence that is neither matter nor energy, but something unknown that somehow responds to thoughts and beliefs. And inrepparttar 122220 field of psychology, scientists are discovering thatrepparttar 122221 human mind has far more potential than anyone ever thought possible!

In concise terms, repparttar 122222 Source of all Power is accessible torepparttar 122223 human mind, to animal minds, and to all forms of intelligence anywhere. Even inorganic substances like rock, glass, and air have a limited degree of intelligence. But in general, repparttar 122224 higherrepparttar 122225 level of intelligence, repparttar 122226 greater degree of Power that may be accessed and used.

Picking The Perfect Christmas Gift

Picking The Perfect Christmas Gift by Alan Tutt http://www.KeysToPower.com

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year! With so many colored lights, sparkling tinsel, and pretty packages, it seems as thoughrepparttar world has magically transformed into a glittering paradise. It's also a great time of year because everyone wants to showrepparttar 122197 special people in their lives how much they are appreciated.

But have you ever sat down to think about what gifts to get that special someone in your life, and came up empty? Have you ever asked yourselfrepparttar 122198 question, "What should I get for this person?" and realized that you really didn't know what would make a good gift? It seems that every year I hear at least a couple of people mention that they are in this quandary.

There are two basic principles that I use in choosing gifts, and using these principles has always guaranteed a great gift.

The first principle is that I focus on what that person enjoys, and what challenges they have been facing. If I know that my special person enjoys going to movies as soon as they are released, then I know that movie passes will make a great gift. If my special person enjoys golf, then something related to that sport will usually be most welcome.

Byrepparttar 122199 same token, if I know that this person has been trying to do something with meager tools, then a gift of a better (or more specialized) tool will berepparttar 122200 chosen gift. This doesn't have to be an expensive tool, justrepparttar 122201 right one. Maybe they need a basic set of handyman's tools, or maybe a glue gun for crafting.

Also on this same line of thinking would berepparttar 122202 situation thatrepparttar 122203 person you're shopping for has trouble inrepparttar 122204 winter with dry heated air. A humidifier (or even a vaporizer) would be received with shouts of joy. Maybe they have trouble with allergies inrepparttar 122205 summer. An indoor air purifier (many are less than $50) could berepparttar 122206 best gift you could give.

And if that special person in your life is just floating aimlessly through life without a sense of direction or purpose, repparttar 122207 best gift could berepparttar 122208 gift of motivation or wisdom. Books are great gifts, especially if you know whatrepparttar 122209 receiver is trying to do with their life (or would like to do with their life if they knew how). Alongrepparttar 122210 same line are recordings, self-development courses, and videos.
