Romans 9(KJV) verse 16 "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Underneath megacity,millions of rats young and old,male and female hurried through varoius passageways in search for food. Whenever food got scarce, sick,weak,injured, disabled,elderly and newborn often got neglected,since natural instinct of hunger had been transformed into lethal greed in a battle that favours fittest and wittest.For every rat,this gruelsome race starts from birth and continues until death! The modern world is lost in such a race as people run after pleasures,possessions and positions that life offers! Even though this way of lfe seems popular does not mean that it is authentic way of life especially for those who are followers of Christ Jesus Lord!This way of lfe engages motives,methods,and means that are diabolically opposed to ways of our Lord! And everyone is naturally born into 'this rat race'. Matthew 7(KJV) verse 13 "Enter ye in at strait gate: for wide is gate, and broad is way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:" verse 14 " Because strait is gate, and narrow is way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." The rat race takes place on broad and glamorous way that leads to destruction of individual,the home,the community,the nation,and world! The Christian race is however different to rat race which is order of worldly system.The Christian race is run on narrow way.The Christian race is pursuit of God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.Throughout Christian race,Christ alone is to be glorified from start to finish!It is therefore a race that is for Christ,with Christ,and through Christ! To leave 'the rat race' of world system and start Christian race,everyone has to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ during which individual wholeheartedly repents of his/her sins and humbly accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Saviour into his/her heart. The word of God clearly advocates divine prosperity but shuns worldly prosperity! And people of God have to boldly take and keep a stand against all signs and shades of unrighteousness even in all financial matters since they are called to be a holy people by Holy One of Israel Himself!The acquisition and expenditure of kingdom wealth by Christian,and Church is by divine wisdom based to godly fear;and demonstrated by good works. The Christian should not trust in his riches,but in Lord who gives him power to get wealth(Deut 8:18).The Christian is called to be a servant of God,not mammon,or both!

Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," verse 6 "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." The title of this article might have been more attractive if it had read 'KING OF KINGS’. But before making a rash judgement that it is just another piece of heresy, let us proceed from a central point of common agreement. To every real Christian, Jesus Christ who is our personal Lord and Saviour deserves royal title of 'KING OF KINGS' and 'LORD OF LORDS'(1 Tim 6:15, Rev.19:16). When we examine title 'KING OF KINGS' we easily deduce that Jesus Christ possesses a kingship and kingdom that surpasses that of any king that lived, that lives, and that will live throughout human history. Daniel 2(KJV) verse 44 "And in days of these kings shall God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." Isaiah 99KJV) verse 6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." verse 7 "Of increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of LORD of hosts will perform this." Yet we can go further to identify another class of 'kings'-those who reign in life by Jesus Christ: Romans 5(KJV) verse 17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." These persons begin to reign by being born into God's kingdom: John 3(KJV) verse 3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see kingdom of God." verse 4 "Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" verse 5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into kingdom of God."
