The precious coin Rom.1:15(KJV) "For therein isrepparttar righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." Jude 1:3(KJV) "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you ofrepparttar 149155 common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend forrepparttar 149156 faith which was once delivered untorepparttar 149157 saints." 2 Peter 1:1(KJV) "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us throughrepparttar 149158 righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:"

Inrepparttar 149159 kingdom of God on earth, the common unit of currency that is spent to fulfill God's purposes in and through mankind is 'the precious coin'. 'The precious coin' is faith in God and his word. 'The precious coin' is available to every member of God's kingdom fromrepparttar 149160 least torepparttar 149161 greatest: Rom.12:5(KJV) "For I say, throughrepparttar 149162 grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every manrepparttar 149163 measure of faith." The importance of real faith andrepparttar 149164 prominence ofrepparttar 149165 heroes of faith have been discussed in 'Rhema Island'. Real faith is 'the precious coin' which has two sides. The side known as 'the head' is 'the sunny side' of real Christianity described below:- Heb.11:33-35a(KJV) "Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stoppedrepparttar 149166 mouths of lions. Quenchedrepparttar 149167 violence of fire, escapedrepparttar 149168 edge ofrepparttar 149169 sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flightrepparttar 149170 armies ofrepparttar 149171 aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again:..." The side known as 'the tail' is 'the cloudy side' of real Christianity described below:- Heb.11:35b-38(KJV) "...and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain withrepparttar 149172 sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whomrepparttar 149173 world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves ofrepparttar 149174 earth." This second side of 'the precious coin' certainly excludes any wrong kind of suffering for Christians as clearly commanded below:- 1 Peter 4:15(KJV) "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters."

Whilerepparttar 149175 first side appears to be attractive, the second seems to be repulsive! Inrepparttar 149176 history ofrepparttar 149177 church, many saints have camped on 'the sunny side';while others have lodged on 'the cloudy side'. Each 'camp' has despisedrepparttar 149178 other due to one or more theological reasons. Yet inrepparttar 149179 sacred records ofrepparttar 149180 bible, one will clearly see that both Jesus Christ, andrepparttar 149181 early church embraced both sides of true Christianity! The Lord Jesus Christ both hadrepparttar 149182 company of great multitudes(Matt.4:25),and suffered desertion of his closest associates(Matt.26:56b). All believers in Christ are called 'to walk in his steps' on both sides of 'the precious coin'(1 Peter 2:21). The early church experienced both 'gathering'(Acts 2:41) and 'scattering'(Acts 8:1) in fulfilling God's purposes for her(Acts 1:8).

Of Whom The World Was Not Worthy Of

Of Whom The World Was Not Worthy Of by Maurice Perry

Hebrews 11:32-38 32 And what shall I more say? Forrepparttar time would fail me to tell of Ged’-e-on, and of Ba’-rak, and of Samson, and of Jeph’-thae; of David also, and Samuel, and ofrepparttar 149154 prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stoppedrepparttar 149155 mouths of lions, 34 Quenchedrepparttar 149156 violence of fire, escapedrepparttar 149157 edge ofrepparttar 149158 sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flightrepparttar 149159 armies ofrepparttar 149160 aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain withrepparttar 149161 sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whomrepparttar 149162 world was not worthy of) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves ofrepparttar 149163 earth.

What does it possibly take to be a man or woman of whomrepparttar 149164 world was not, or is not worthy of? How can this awesome status berepparttar 149165 label of a person, people, or more specifically, repparttar 149166 body of Christ?

“To be a man or woman whomrepparttar 149167 world is not worthy of” is something that every Christian andrepparttar 149168 church of today should be striving for. It should berepparttar 149169 declaration ofrepparttar 149170 world (secular society) about us,repparttar 149171 precious bride of Christ. And what isrepparttar 149172 world saying aboutrepparttar 149173 body of Christ at this very moment?

I believerepparttar 149174 world is looking atrepparttar 149175 body of Christ as a disjointed entity that will never live up torepparttar 149176 true message of Christianity. Withrepparttar 149177 differences of biblical interpretation, due mainly to man-made denominational groupings, repparttar 149178 body of Christ has become so segmented overrepparttar 149179 past 300 years thatrepparttar 149180 body has become detached like “Voltron pieces”! (for those that are too young or too old to remember what Voltron was, it was a cartoon and action figure inrepparttar 149181 1980’s in which five different pieces came together to make one massive body or structure).

However, denominational struggles and disagreements is another subject matter in itself. What I want to focus on arerepparttar 149182 things that maderepparttar 149183 group of people mentioned inrepparttar 149184 scripture above men or women whomrepparttar 149185 world was not worthy of. Only then will we knowrepparttar 149186 pattern or ways in which we too can also be seen as men or women thatrepparttar 149187 world is not worthy of.

The first thing that we notice is that there was a level of faith that had to be within each and everyone ofrepparttar 149188 individuals that were mentioned in order to be able to become kings and prophets, and to subdue kingdoms. They were so overly consumed with pleasingrepparttar 149189 Father that their faith was never onrepparttar 149190 brink of disintegrating and failing. These men loved God more than their own souls, placing their lives onrepparttar 149191 line in warfare and inrepparttar 149192 midst of severe persecution. And because of their total obedience and surrender torepparttar 149193 will of God, verses 33 and 34 were able to come to pass:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stoppedrepparttar 149194 mouths of lions, 34 Quenchedrepparttar 149195 violence of fire, escapedrepparttar 149196 edge ofrepparttar 149197 sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flightrepparttar 149198 armies ofrepparttar 149199 aliens.

We, who carryrepparttar 149200 call of being Christian in this world that we live in must replicate this same kind of bold faith in order to persevere, conquer and take dominion and authority overrepparttar 149201 kingdom of darkness, principalities and powers that try to hinder our growth inrepparttar 149202 Lord, shake our faith, and hinderrepparttar 149203 flow of blessings that God has stored up for us. We must be consumed with being a blessing to God withrepparttar 149204 act of our faithfulness unto him, rather than being consumed with receiving a blessing. The kingdom of God is an upside-down kingdom, meaning, that its characteristics arerepparttar 149205 absolute opposite ofrepparttar 149206 characteristics of this world. One trait ofrepparttar 149207 world, for example, isrepparttar 149208 “get mine” mentality, a selfish trait that leads to covetousness and inevitably, idolatry. The Kingdom mindset is “give, and it shall be given unto you.” The notion that “God blesses those who blesses themselves, or helps those who helps themselves” is a lie straight fromrepparttar 149209 pits of hell! If you have been using this saying, please stop, because it is not biblical. It is a selfish statement that is full of confusion and it is anti-Christian, rhetorically. The truth ofrepparttar 149210 matter is that God helps those who help others… God blesses those who bless others. It isrepparttar 149211 selfless act of humility giving which God honors and blesses.
