The See-Saw

Written by White Feather

We all have numerous egos and all we do is fight them and try to kill them. We label them as bad and we must exterminate anything that is bad, right? Egos are not bad. They are a part of us. We're confused because we're doing battle against parts of ourselves.

Stop fighting your egos. The more you fight an ego, repparttar more energy you give it andrepparttar 122127 more it will fight back. Drop your weapons. Stoprepparttar 122128 confusing war. Get to know your egos. Try to understand them and you will eventually be taken torepparttar 122129 source of their power. Egos are driven by emotions. Fear isrepparttar 122130 main one, but all emotions fuel egos. We created egos for protection from our fears, but we also created them to act out all our other emotions. We need our egos to get through those emotions and we need to get through those emotions in order to get to what is atrepparttar 122131 root of all emotions, and that, of course, is unconditional love.

Emotions can be seen as both our resistance to unconditional love and our attempt to translate unconditional love into a system of duality where our egos can act out that translation. So we don't get back to unconditional love by killing our egos, but rather by making peace with our egos and trying to understandrepparttar 122132 translation they are showing us.

The thing about dark nights ofrepparttar 122133 soul is that they are followed by bright days ofrepparttar 122134 soul, which are followed by dark nights ofrepparttar 122135 soul, which are followed by bright days ofrepparttar 122136 soul, etc. Living in duality, this isrepparttar 122137 natural flow. We can go withrepparttar 122138 flow, fight it, or go beyond it by focusing onrepparttar 122139 center null point of ONE-ness. Just like with our days and nights on planet Earth, there is incredible beauty to be found just before sunrise or just asrepparttar 122140 sun is setting; those times when it's neither fully day nor fully night. It seems like it's half day and half night. The two are, ever so briefly, balanced out. Edgar Cayce said that sunrise and sunset were big windows into other dimensions. The center null point of balance is always a window.

Improving Meditation

If you have ten years to sit atrepparttar bottom of a dark cave you can really master meditation. Short of that you could enroll in a monastery and devote your life to contemplation. Perhaps you would rather move to India and become a yogi?

For a long time such extreme techniques and lifestyle changes have beenrepparttar 122126 only way to really do what we have wanted in regards to psychic power and ability. Even if you are willing to do it though, it has been kind of hard to find someone you can trust to push food throughrepparttar 122127 little slot inrepparttar 122128 door each day or pay forrepparttar 122129 plane ticket.

Most people have an innate feeling that if they could just concentrate a little harder, go just a little deeper into their own minds, they would be able to unleash incredible power. All reliable reports say that they are right to believe this. Most people also find it hard to set aside an hour for meditation, never mind ten years.

Here is a simple method that can takerepparttar 122130 place of that ten year journey inside yourself. You still have to pay attention and use discipline to get where you wish to be, but you will speed things up several hundreds times, reaching levels of meditation that many have thought could not be reached at all and certainly not by city dwelling folk like most of us!

The concept here is a bit circular. You use what meditative skills you have to generate a psychic field, which will carry your mind into a deeper and more focused state. In that deeper state you reinforcerepparttar 122131 psychic field, which will drive you deeper still.

When you reachrepparttar 122132 state you wish you simply setrepparttar 122133 psychic field to resonate with that level of thought and you will easily maintain your place.

I am not suggesting that anyone give up their meditative practices and move to only this technique. Think of this as more of a tool to help you speed up your progress, rather than a complete program. After all, no single tool will ever replace self-discipline for getting things done. It also never hurts to give new skills an honest try, if you wish to perform at a higher level.

Some of these steps will take a little work to perfect, but don’t let feeling a little shaky on one or two of them stop you though, as this method has a tendency to work itself into a consistently stronger format on its own! So lets get started.

*Allow your mind to quite. If you have meditative skills, begin by going into yourself as deeply as you can. If you are new to meditation, just try to makerepparttar 122134 inside of your head feel quiet and hollow. Don’t worry about doing it correctly. Just acknowledge any thoughts coming in and set them aside for a few minutes.

*In this quiet space, you will want to focus onrepparttar 122135 feeling of your mind moving into a deeper place. It is important that you focus onrepparttar 122136 “feeling” orrepparttar 122137 raw “knowing” of what you want. Try not to dwell on particulars. Your subconscious mind will get you where you need to be, you are just providingrepparttar 122138 basic suggestion to go there. At this point you will have automatically begun to form a psychic information field around your mind.
