The Rock

Written by Joyce C. Lock

He isrepparttar Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. There is none holy asrepparttar 126585 Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

For who is God, saverepparttar 126586 Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, andrepparttar 126587 horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

For who is God saverepparttar 126588 Lord? or who is a rock save our God?

The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and letrepparttar 126589 God of my salvation be exalted.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory:repparttar 126590 rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

O come, let us sing untorepparttar 126591 Lord: let us make a joyful noise torepparttar 126592 rock of our salvation.

Letrepparttar 126593 wilderness andrepparttar 126594 cities thereof lift up their voice, repparttar 126595 villages that Kedar doth inhabit: letrepparttar 126596 inhabitants ofrepparttar 126597 rock sing, let them shout fromrepparttar 126598 top ofrepparttar 126599 mountains.

Fight the Good Fight

Written by Daniel N. Brown

The Bible saysrepparttar just shall live by faith, and without faith, we cannot please God. (Romans 1:17; Hebrews 11:6)

Operating in faith is taking God at His Word by believing what He says is true. We can know that we believe what He says is true if we are acting like it is, for faith without works is dead. (James 2:20)

Sometimes we can become so weary in waiting for our dreams to come to pass that it becomes discouraging. Just like I said last week, repparttar 126584 devil will not just stand by and watch while God prospers us. 1 Timothy 6:12 says, “Fightrepparttar 126585 good fight of faith.”

We must not allow discouragement to dim our hope! There will always be many reasons to feel discouraged, but better reasons to reject discouragement. It is promised in Galations 6:9 that we are to not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

If we become gloomy and hopeless, it shows a lack of confidence in God’s presence, power, and promises. Try to keep in mind that God’s glory is real even when we don’t see it. On gray, gloomy, rainy days, high aboverepparttar 126586 overcast sky, repparttar 126587 sun continues to shine. We can’t feel its warmth or see its beauty, but it still exists.
