The Holy Land as a Human ShapeWritten by Avinoam Amizan
The Jewish people returned to its homeland in Israel after 2000 years of Diaspora, and after holocaust. One of holocaust lessons is that a strong Israeli state is a moral duty for free world. But borders of Promised Land are not defined precisely in Bible. It is written in Bible that Lord, Jewish people, and Land of Israel are a united entity. This definition determined fate of Jews. Contrary to clear development of Jewish people and its laws, borders remained obscure, and influenced major political decisions. For many years I've been interested by cognitive maps as explanations of elements in space. A cognitive map is actual map as perceived by individual's mind, according to his own personal interpretation of data. In a long process of combining between satellite photos, anatomy models, and history, I drew a cognitive map of land of Israel. I found that Land of Israel has a human shape! You can read all about it at length in: http://www.holylandmap.net
| | God’s Glory is Real Even When We Don’t See ItWritten by Daniel N. Brown
God’s glory is real even when we don’t see it. On gray, gloomy, rainy days, high above overcast sky, sun continues to shine. We can’t feel its warmth or see its beauty, but it still exists. God’s beauty and His love for us are real even when our circumstances are difficult. If we think “above clouds,” we can have hope knowing that God is still there.
