This Halloween we stayed in San Francisco's newly renovated Mosser Hotel, located on 4th Street, just a half-block off Market. The Mosser's location makes it perfect forrepparttar 138086 traveler who would rather not drive - and that's a plus because parking is very difficult in San Francisco. We parked our car in valet parking and walked to Union Square, Chinatown, Macy's, SF Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), and world class shopping. You are also a half-block from BART,repparttar 138090 Bay Area's subway. BART can take you to Berkeley, Oakland, and areas south of San Francisco.

Originally built as The Keystone in 1913,repparttar 138091 Mosser opened as San Francisco's newest and most luxurious hotel. It was built by Alice Phelan, a patron ofrepparttar 138092 arts, sister of Senator Phelan and daughter of James Phelan, who builtrepparttar 138093 Phelan Building, just aroundrepparttar 138094 corner on Market Street. The building is an exquisite example of Victorian architectural style. The two-story lobby and elevator cabs have been completely restored, retainingrepparttar 138095 charm and grace of this magnificent building.

Modern interior design makesrepparttar 138096 most ofrepparttar 138097 petit Victorian rooms. There are 112 deluxe rooms with private bath; 54 standard rooms with shared bath. The architectural firm, Yabu Pushelberg, recently designed interiors forrepparttar 138098 W Hotel Chain, and designed custom furniture for The Mosser. Sitting in bed, you have everything you could need within reach. No need to get out of bed to getrepparttar 138099 remote -repparttar 138100 TV is attached torepparttar 138101 end ofrepparttar 138102 bed. If you like amenities, we foundrepparttar 138106 shampoo and soap to be delightful. We tookrepparttar 138107 extras home, we liked them so much.
