Growing up in California I remember my family trips to Disneyland at a time when tickets corresponded torepparttar 109741 first five letters ofrepparttar 109742 alphabet. The most treasured tickets among these wererepparttar 109743 E-Tickets, which we used to ride Space Mountain andrepparttar 109744 Haunted Mansion . To mark Southern California's Disneyland 's 50th anniversary, Walt Disney World kicked off "The Happiest Celebration on Earth" in grand style at Disney theme parks aroundrepparttar 109745 world.

Our family is on hand to witnessrepparttar 109746 anniversary preparations atrepparttar 109747 Disney Parks in Florida , featuring several unique shows and attractions from aroundrepparttar 109748 world. We like to stay close torepparttar 109749 attractions at Downtown Disney, yet away fromrepparttar 109750 traffic. The spacious Comfort Inn in Lake Buena Vista, Florida , is less than two miles from Downtown Disney, and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Amenities include continental breakfast at their onsite restaurant, a bar, game room, sparkling pools, and free transportation to Disney Parks.

We’re pleasantly surprised upon arriving at our room moments after checking in to find an attendant withrepparttar 109751 roll-away bed we requested. Before heading out to Disney we enjoy a FREE Deluxe Continental Breakfast inrepparttar 109752 Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant. The restaurant also features a Kids Eat Free program, and Early Bird & Senior breakfast & dinner specials.

KA, which translates to fire in Japanese and signifies spiritual duality in Egyptian mythology, isrepparttar 109741 story of twins, a boy and a girl, who as youngsters are kidnapped and separated from each other and their family. The show engages a series of epic challenges that these young royals must endure in order to reunite.

A dark, dazzling gothic tone is establishedrepparttar 109742 moment one entersrepparttar 109743 sprawling 1951 seat theater. Smoke accompanied by blasts of fire light uprepparttar 109744 stage while nimble Ninjas dart and swing from multi-tiered catwalks over and aroundrepparttar 109745 audience. These characters are primal in their ominous quest. The show begins when an old Asian man with a long, thin red beard makes his entrance. The Ninjas are his warriors and their dark message has already been planted inrepparttar 109746 viewer’s mind.

The Slave Cage.

Breaking new theatrical ground there is no stage as we know it. Instead, there are numerous platforms, sets and incredible technology that enable performers to use vertical as well as horizontal space. A platform carryingrepparttar 109747 royal family and court seems to float forward fromrepparttar 109748 back ofrepparttar 109749 stage. The evil warriors appear, separatingrepparttar 109750 twins from each other and their parents. Sets transform from a stage to a ship caught in a storm. Utilizingrepparttar 109751 abyss on either side ofrepparttar 109752 stage, characters are tossed overboard and appear to be swallowed up byrepparttar 109753 roiling ocean water.

Creator and director Robert Lepage describesrepparttar 109754 KA experience by saying, “People will haverepparttar 109755 impression they’re within some kind of cinematic event — but actually everything is interactive, everything’s happening atrepparttar 109756 moment.”

Female Archers.

The magnificent costumes designed by Marie-Chantale Vaillancourt, andrepparttar 109757 props, especiallyrepparttar 109758 spears and bows and arrows, designed by Patricia Ruel, celebrate aesthetic and colorful aspects of Asian culture. Perhapsrepparttar 109759 most extraordinary innovation isrepparttar 109760 technology that allowsrepparttar 109761 entire stage to transform intorepparttar 109762 depths ofrepparttar 109763 ocean, a battlefield or a mountain of ice.
