In cyber space out there, you might have heard about internet guru, one who make a million dollars from internet and so. Do you really think you need to be there – internet marketing expert who knows everything on internet – before you can make a fortune online?

That is so not true! In other way around, trying to become a guru will lead you to failure. Someone said “the internet guru is one who can tell people how to make money but cannot make it for himself.

I knew a lot of people who spent 2 or 3 months trying to write their own ebooks or online courses, finally end up with a few thousand visitors because they just did not know to marketing their products.

Have you ever notice that 2/3 of successful network marketers or home business entrepreneurs had a relatively low or standard education background – can you name any internet millionaire who graduated from college, studied e-commerce or marketing? Not easy to find one, right?

The first thing you should avoid is perfectionism, nobody can make something perfect. I, myself, was one who fall in this trap, got stuck for 2 months trying to collect free ebooks and reports as much as possible to make sure that I will not miss anything I need to learn.

After 2 months, I had realized that it’s impossible (at least for me) to learn everything just for start my own online business. I was exhausted and distracted. I started thinking I could not make it. Fortunately, I stopped wasting my time and begun to implement my project immediately - I did not care what else to learn.

You should study and implement your project at same time. Don’t waste your time to study everything, just scan for what you are interested in and then start working on it – you will know what you need to learn on way.

Warm-weather months are a fun and busy time. It's time to fire up barbie, plant your flowers, and maybe take a trip to beach. The cold weather is gone and lazy, hazy days of summer are upon us. It just seems that so many things have been added to our plate, we have little time for anything else.

But wait! Does that include business you have worked so hard on during winter? Unfortunately for some it does. It's like race car driver, who speeds around track and gets a lead of his competition, but then decides to coast last few laps. Guess what - he is going to be passed.

A lot of people virtually take summer off from their online business, and this is an opportunity for you. While they are taking 2 steps back, you can leapfrog over them and get customers they might have gotten.

This is not a new phenomenon, and is as old as web itself. Online business typically slows down during summer months. But who is slowing down? It is usually those who work web part-time in evening. Now when it gets dark early, this is easy. But when days are longer, it seems there just isn't enough time to do everything else, and also take care of business.

If you are serious about developing your online business, you must have discipline it takes to continue. It's awfully easy to think you'll get it done tomorrow, but unfortunately, your customers will not wait for you to get motivated.
