The DoorWritten by Joyce C. Lock
Did I fear a great multitude, or did contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of door? My beloved put in his hand by hole of door, and my bowels were moved for him. And he brought me to door of court; and when I looked, behold a hole in wall. Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in wall: and when I had digged in wall, behold a door. And cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from earth in my sight: when they went out, wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at door of east gate of Lord's house; and glory of God of Israel was over them above. Likewise people of land shall worship at door of this gate before Lord in sabbaths and in new moons. And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in days of her youth, and as in day when she came up out of land of Egypt.
| | The RockWritten by Joyce C. Lock
He is Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. There is none holy as Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. For who is God, save Lord? and who is a rock, save our God? The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and horn of my salvation, and my high tower. For who is God save Lord? or who is a rock save our God? The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let God of my salvation be exalted. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. O come, let us sing unto Lord: let us make a joyful noise to rock of our salvation. Let wilderness and cities thereof lift up their voice, villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let inhabitants of rock sing, let them shout from top of mountains.
