The Anti-Aging DilemmaWritten by Vic Damone
Since very dawn of our species and consciousness itself, we have struggled against effects of aging. Once vibrant creatures with tight skin and toned bodies, we cringe more and more as years go by when looking in mirror. It serves as a cruel reminder that time is unforgiving and that we seem utterly powerless to curb its effects upon our bodies. The loss of libido and sexual appetite with passing of time is more psychological than result of biology. Sexual desire is strongly linked to how we perceive ourselves and it is very difficult to believe that our bodies are wanted by others when mirror constantly reminds us of wrinkles and aging marks we have gained in passing years. Both pharmaceutical industry and medical community have expended great effort to help us fight effects of aging
| | Creatine MonohydrateWritten by Stephen Taddei
Creatine Monohydrate is an amino acid which occurs naturally in our bodies. Creatine can be found occurring naturally in many meats and is also created by liver, pancreas, and kidneys from glycine and arginine. In addition to this one can supplement their diet with creatine. Scientific studies have shows that creatine effects high intensity athletic performance, such as sprinting or weightlifting. It has also been shown to have no apparent effect on aerobic (lower intensity) exercise. Supplementation with creatine has been shown to cause almost immediate weight gain, most of which can be attributed to water retention in one's muscles. Because there is more water being retained in one's muscles while supplementing with creatine it is important to ensure one drink ample water to avoid dehydration
