Like all webmasters, reason you created your website in first place is so that people (visitors) can see what you have to offer. Maybe you simply wish to share your thoughts and opinions on a weblog. Whatever your motivation for building your site, you won't achieve your goals without building a steady flow of traffic to it! How does adding new content help build traffic? Here are three ways:

1 - More content helps boost your search engine rankings, and higher search engine rankings mean more visitors will "find" your website when they search for what you're offering. In general, larger sites fare better in search engines than smaller sites, for various reasons.

2 - More content (meaning more pages) provides more "roads" into your site from search engines. Having hundreds or thousands of pages means there are hundreds or thousands of varied search terms that your site will come up for in search results. This means instead of your site being "found" when just two or three relevant searches are made, it will be found under hundreds or thousands of search terms!

It’s a common story. Someone builds a great site, populates it with lots of fantastic content and beautiful graphics. They spend weeks or month making sure everything is perfect before big launch day arrives. Then in hours, days and weeks after upload, a few people trickle in but nothing really explosive. Buy Traffic – This is probably easiest and a very cheap way to go. The way it works is that companies purchase expired domain names and redirect traffic straight to your site. Other companies operate pop-up or pop-under technology that displays website you want visited. Often you can start seeing results from this in 48 hours and many thousands of visitors can be had for only a few dollars outlay. Beware! This can really send your stats through roof and is very easy, but there are pitfalls. Untargeted traffic is quite low quality unless you have something truly great to show a general audience. In most case you are far better off purchasing targeted hits to your site’s area of interest. It is only logical that a travel site would want people looking for travel information! It is worth spending a few extra dollars.
