TWAS TWO WEEKS BEFORE CHRISTMASWritten by Irvin L. Rozier
Twas two weeks before Christmas morn Until that day Savior was born There was no Santa Claus present at that stable Some believe virgin birth is a fableThe three wise men knew of his coming birth Which would take place at a spot on earth They knew that time of His coming was nigh They had observed signs in sky That great star of Bethlehem shone so bright Made darkness flee before it's light The wise men began to prepare for their journey Gathered some gifts and a little money With joy in their hearts and a song on their lips Over desert they went through hills and dips They knew that their eyes soon would see The one who came so they could be free
| | AN ANSWER COMES AND A DEATH FORETOLD IN A DREAMWritten by Irvin L. Rozier
Matthew 1 verse 20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, angel of Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of Holy Ghost."Joseph listened to angel of Lord, believed his dream was from God, and obeyed instructions. Many times throughout Bible, in both old and new testaments, God has spoken to his own in dreams, given instructions, and revealed His will. Does He still do same today? I say yes. Here are two examples from my personal experience. Shortly after I was saved, my 10 year old son asked me, "Daddy, where does it say in Bible that devil fell from heaven?" I didn't know off hand and it was late so I told him I would look scripture up in morning. I went to sleep and began dreaming. In this dream, a large Bible was opened to scripture Isaiah 14 verse 12. I awoke from my sleep (it was about 2 AM), turned on my bedside lamp, picked up my Bible from table, and read scripture. It reads "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of morning! how art thou cut down in ground, which didst weaken nations!" God showed me this in a dream!
