Summer Anti-Boredom List By Deborah Shelton

Before summer vacation turns into a boredom fest, sit down as a family and make a summer anti-boredom list. Write down a mixture of long overdue chores that you’ve been meaning to get done, along with goals and dreams that you’ve always wanted to accomplish. Don’t leave outrepparttar 111420 fantastic! If you’ve always wanted to ride on a unicorn, even though there is no such animal, write it down. You may readrepparttar 111421 list one day when you’re bored, seerepparttar 111422 unicorn wish, and decide to take horseback riding lessons.

Organize Your Kids This Summer

As your children enjoy their warm-weather playtime outdoors, try these tips to keep them safe and organized.

1. Place a large plastic container on your back porch or deck. Make sure it's big enough to hold all their outdoor toys. Insist on a daily clean-up time.

2. Fill a cooler with ice, drinks, snacks and wipes so kids won't need to go in and out ofrepparttar house as much.

3. Set up an "outdoor supply box" filled with hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, flip flops, towels, bug repellent and a small first aid kit. Keep it nearrepparttar 111417 door.
