Success Stamina- How to Stay Motivated Day After Day Written by Caterina Rando
Some days wind and world all seem to be working with you- you find a parking spot in perfect place, get through to people when you call them, accomplish tasks with ease. At end of day, you feel your business or career moving forward. Then there are days when you drag yourself around, phone seems to weigh 40 pounds, you can't find what you need, copier jams and at end of day, you feel like you would be further along if you stayed in bed. Some days, some weeks seem to go well because your Success Stamina is high and others seem challenging because your Success Stamina is low.Maintaining your Success Stamina is far more complex than simply keeping up your physical stamina by getting enough sleep, eating a power breakfast and skipping Martinis at lunch. Your Success Stamina is proper combination of enough attention to your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well being. When you neglect any of these aspects of yourself your stamina for success will be compromised: To keep yourself in action and to keep everything flowing in right direction, identify which of following factors you can focus on to improve your Success Stamina: Keep Your Eye on The Pie Your momentum will stay high when you have a clear vision of what it is you are working to accomplish. Every morning take two minutes to focus on visualization of you having achieved your desired outcome. See a vivid mental picture of that large commission check in hand, of you signing contract or overseeing installation of equipment you are selling. Whatever success is to you see it. Hold that picture in your mind through out day. Thinking and Planning Time At end of each day take time to plan for next day. During that time identify what it is you want to accomplish tomorrow. What resources you need to do that, what questions you need answered. Planning allows you to be proactive rather than reactive, which is what happens when you wait until last minute. Planning also allows your subconscious mind time to figure out your strategy for completing tomorrow's tasks. Focus on Relationships First In hustle and bustle of making things happen we often forget that there are people we are serving through our work. By focusing on those people, getting to know them, listen to them and increase our clarity about what their needs are we will sharpen our senses for how we can create solutions that will best serve ourselves and our clients.

Problems, disappointments and trouble; three skunks that sometimes think they are our children. At least they want to stay around long enough to give us a college education. But education we get may be only half story, See what you think!Nailed To The Cross! Have you ever felt like you were jinxed? That somehow you were just born on wrong side of tracks? Have you ever felt like when bird of paradise flew over it wasn't snow balls he was dropping? Join club; club of life that is. You know, I have heard it said before, and I may have said it sometime in past myself, that trials and troubles are here to teach us something. I sure they probably can if we pay attention. But, you know something? There is another side of that coin. If troubles and problems and pain are here to teach us something, why don't we give all of our kids a hammer to take to school and tell them to hit themselves in head with it because they will learn better if hurt all day?. I realize that is a preposterous idea, but you get my point. There is probably truth on each side of coin, but I prefer to examine other side and see if there might be something we can learn from that. An Ace Up Our Sleeve! Suppose we say there is no reason for PDT. suppose we say we had nothing at all to do with them coming our way. Suppose we say, we were not born on wrong side of tracks, we are not jinxed, and it has nothing to do with bad luck.Ok, so if we say PDT is not just to teach us something, and make us fit for next battle, why are they here? How about a very simple answer? That's just way that life works. And, every one of us is included in design. So, universe has a job to do and we do too. Just A Good Ole Boy! This kind of article always brings up subject of Job and his troubles. The Bible says Job was a righteous man. So, it wasn't Job who brought problems on himself. He said he didn't do anything to deserve them. He wasn't jinxed and did not have perpetual bad luck. In fact, historians tell us whole ordeal with Job only lasted around nine months. And, then Job got everything back he had lost. Job did say something interesting though. He said, "The thing I' have always feared has come upon me". Umm. Interesting. The thing I have feared. That could lead us right back to what's going on inside our head. So, it's not your inherited bad luck, it's not some hex that some witchdoctor has put on you, and it's not I always end up with short end of stick kind of deal. The end of stick we end up with does have a lot to do with what is going on inside our head, If we believe that we always get short end, then life does it's job by helping us get short end. If we believe that we win a few and lose a few, universe goes into motion to help us win a few and lose a few. Letting The Cat Out Of The Bag! The universe didn't single anyone out and say ok, you get short end 90% of time and someone else gets long end 90% of time. The universe, at least in my experience, has shown that it does not care who gets roughed up 90% and who gets to sail through easily on winds of fortune.
