Stop a WarWritten by Ed Howes
Stop a War
A nation at war with itself cannot stand. He speaks of American justice and points us to evil while he cuts deals with nuclear armed devils. A friend of al Qaeda, he is Commander-In-Chief of most powerful military force on planet earth and man we call President. I know this is true because I heard it on TV.
In November, 2001, just weeks after declaring war on global terrorism, President George Bush and Secretary Donald Rumsfeld assisted some 8,000 members of al Qaeda and their Pakistani trainers to escape Afghanistan. Three to four hundred members of U.S. Delta Force had terrorists surrounded, in their gun sights and can testify they were ordered not to engage.
This episode was reported on PBS program, NOW, with Bill Moyers, on February 21, 2003, by investigative reporter Seymour Hersh. The transcript is available from NOW/PBS Website.
If this report is correct: 1.The war on terrorism is a fraud. 2. President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld have provided aid and comfort to an enemy in wartime. This, I seem to recall, is definition of high treason, a capital crime for which both men should be executed when properly tried and convicted. 3. President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld should be immediately relieved of office by Congress. Until this matter is resolved and before another American life is lost in a phony war created to convince people to trade their liberty for security. Security that cannot be had at any price. Life carries risks that can only be minimized by personal choices, not police power. 4. If Congress refuses to act in this matter, leaving alleged traitors in a position to further destroy lives, they should all be recalled from office by States.
It is known to American government that Pakistan is a sponsor of and shield to terrorism. General Musharraf is likely a puppet of radical fundamentalists in Pakistan and elsewhere. The economic aid flowing to Pakistan by billions from American taxpayers, through a treasonous Congress, is used to support al Qaeda and to provide nuclear weapons to 3rd world powers like North Korea and probably al Qaeda as well. Pakistan is Capitol of evil and government says, “No, look over here, at Iraq, Iran and North Korea! Pakistan is our nuclear proliferating terrorist friend because we fear them and must support their secular strong man.”
Every member of U.S. Armed Forces has sworn an oath to defend U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Those members of Delta Force who leaked this story of presidential hypocrisy and treason have done their duty to America and their military brethren. I have no doubt more will come forward, if nothing happens to them, to confirm treason of November, 2001. When Commander-In-Chief is a traitor, soldier is in a very delicate position. He/she can be placed in harm’s way before testimony can be given. These witnesses need protection now. Should anything happen to them, we will know that treason has no limit.
Because high treason is a capital crime, it seems there is great reluctance to expose it, like a family secret. No one wants to accuse or try top leaders of a nation, perhaps world. Saying and doing nothing makes everyone else complicit in crime. Even panel on Now avoided calling this action a crime. It was portrayed as a political expediency to support secular leadership in Pakistan, General Musharraf.
Nothing to FearWritten by Ed Howes

Nothing to Fear
Terror is meant to change policy. Fear is meant to support policy. This is Old World idea of balance. Guns change votes and that is why democracy is found nowhere. Nor would we want democracy if we had a choice, because we know majority is more often wrong than right. In fact, majority loves to be deceived and chooses deceivers to lead them down road to glory. Europe has had so much of this last Century, it balks at idea of supporting any potential 21st Century Hitler, on either side of Atlantic.
Is it because fearful are so much easier to control and manipulate that fear is major product of world governments? Everywhere I look surely fear is preferred tool. It is cheap and very easy to generate.
Oklahoma City and World Trade Center attacks had a common goal and lesson. If your government cannot protect its own, how can it protect anyone else? Look at what your government does in world, in your name. Do you approve? If you don't, what will you "free" people do about it? We will pay for it, of course, because we are free to pay for it.
We all would love to believe we are safer now that government is half awake. Instead, we sense truth that our vulnerability increases every day. As long as we can stay alert to strange activity around us we can survive terror from without. We won't even look at threats to and in Capitol. The game is called look over here so you don't see what we are doing over there. We look where they point and fix our attention on their message. Why don't we look elsewhere for some other point of view? See if there is a big picture.
In November, 2001, Commander Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld assisted escape of some 8000 members of al Qaeda from Afghanistan to Pakistan. As Pakistani transport planes airlifted thousands through an official no fire corridor, those on ground had enough time to hike to Pakistani border, about 120 miles away. This was fully reported on PBS program, Now, with Bill Moyers. It aired 21 February, 2003. You can read an archived transcript @ PBS.Org.
We can imagine that cellular organization and skillful recruiting can double number of cells in a year or less. 8,000 al Qaeda set free in November 2001, could easily be 20,000 today. We might ask how this can be called homeland security. Al Qaeda is not just bodies, but minds united by a worthy cause. Change U.S. policies.
Another lesson of September 11 is that a very determined enemy has will to find a way. It took two attempts to destroy their priority target and first attempt on new priority target, U.S. Capitol, is fair warning. If I lived or worked within 50 miles of Capitol, I would not sleep well without self medicating and I assume most in that area do medicate.
So why would President want to assist in a future attack on very place he lives and works? The whole story is not to be found in Now report, or with me. The advantage terrorists have over America is a rich, fertile, collective imagination. Americans have little or none. So why don't we start reclaiming some imagination for ourselves? It could save a life or millions. It may be too late and not worth bothering about.
