Stop TRYING to SELL and Start TRYING to HELP! Part IIWritten by Corey Bachmeier
In part I of this article series, I uncovered a fatal flaw that many new networkers have in their business building mindset. It is thought of trying to sell your products or opportunity to people, instead of helping and teaching them about your products and opportunity, opportunity of time and financial freedom. This article looks at concept of teaching people about how they can improve their time and financial freedom, through your business opportunity. Hopefully your company has tools in place that will inform your potential prospects about your product line, business, and benefits that your company can provide for them in terms of financial and time freedom. These tools can include things like: Conference Calls Pre-recorded Calls Internet Presentations Fax on Demand Online Meetings All of these tools are designed to inform your prospects and teach them about how your company can help them, either with your products, or your opportunity. Most people when they first get involved with their business, SAY TOO MUCH TO PROSPECTS!

OK, you have successfully launched your new home based business. You are using internet in your business. You have a TV set in your office, and kids are either back in school or grown and gone their own ways. And you are working. In your work you use internet for research on occasion, and you decide to keep TV set on “for whit noise in background.” What to have running? 1. What does your work area look like (see photo at right). Did you remember to clean your desk space and do all your filing last night at close of business. Is your old work all properly filed and is your work space clean and neat, holding only your current work? If not, it should be. Don’t work in a workspace as shown in photo --- it is terribly time wasting. 2. I’ve gotta do my email. I get my regular daily portion of SPAM that I have to sort through diligently every morning for 2 or 3 hours just in case I received a new job coming in via email? There are several solutions here. Mine is Mailwasher but e-prompter and several others are also available. Here’s where to look for them: http://www.mailwasher.net/ http://www.downloads.com http://www.tucows.com
