Smarty Jones that's my name!

Our deepest fear us not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us…..We are born to manifestrepparttar glory of God that is within us….And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to dorepparttar 148407 same. Today more than ever we live in times of public murder via internet andrepparttar 148408 awareness ofrepparttar 148409 dirty little secrets of wartime interrogation. Yet, this weekend we as a country got a breathe of fresh air by watching a little horse letting go of his inadequacy’s and race around a dirt track looking for his one shot at Glory. If a nation is so hungry for winners by getting behind a horse named Smarty Jones, then who are we not to embracerepparttar 148410 Glory of God and share it with others?

Not long ago I read a quote inrepparttar 148411 book, “Jesus - Life Coach” that read, “Are you living your life like you only have six healthy months to live? I answered NO! and then I asked myself, why? I didn’t have an answer. Did I fear inadequacy? Or did I fear, what if God blessed me beyond measure? Could I handle being inrepparttar 148412 spot light? Could I live up torepparttar 148413 world’s expectations of me or my expectations of myself? I really don’t think it’s our place to decide what we can handle and not, it’s God’s. Yet, it is our desire to live by Faith. The bible says, “with God who can be against us.” Our feelings of inadequacy is just another way of Satan trying to trick us into thinking we are not worthy of God’s glory or even living a life full of happiness and love down here on earth.

Play it forward! Living a life you've always wanted!

What would your life be like if you lived each event backwards? If you knew what was coming in your life next how would you react?

John Eldredge writes in his book Wakingrepparttar Dead, “God what do you have for my heart today?” He continues by saying, “you may be stunned by what he guides you into. I beganrepparttar 148406 day at six inrepparttar 148407 morning asking God, “What do you have for my heart today Lord.” I had a few minutes to spare this morning (very unusual) so I had a cup of coffee at Starbucks. During that time a brain storm came to me and I wrote feverously for thirty minutes, jumped inrepparttar 148408 car and decided to take a tour ofrepparttar 148409 new Wal-Mart food store in St. Matthews as I headed back to work. When I arrived atrepparttar 148410 store it was not raining, as I began to leave it was pouring. I didn’t buy anything so I went outrepparttar 148411 entrance way. Atrepparttar 148412 same time I realized it was raining an elderly woman coming intorepparttar 148413 store asked me to help with fix her umbrella, it was stuck open. I’m thinking, not now lady my top’s down in my car and there are fish swimming in it, but calmly with a smile I help her. Then she wants me to fold it for her, you’ve got to be kidding me. She proceeds to thank me (as I swiftly move away) and she says, “byrepparttar 148414 way there is a convertible inrepparttar 148415 parking lot withrepparttar 148416 top down.

As I ran out I yell that’s mine thank you Now, how many seventy
