When God's choir is on
front line of spiritual battlefields, God wins
battle ... on
front line.II Chronicles 20:21-22
When Jehoshaphat had consulted with
people, he appointed singers unto
Lord, and that should praise
beauty of holiness, as they went out before
army, and to say, Praise
Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto
Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all
people shouted with a great shout, when they praised
Lord, because
foundation of
house of
Lord was laid. ~ * ~
Sing unto
Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at
remembrance of his holiness. Praise
Lord with harp: sing unto him with
psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is
King of all
earth: sing ye praises with understanding. The pastures are clothed with flocks;
valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. Sing forth
honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
All
earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. O let
nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge
people righteously, and govern
nations upon earth. Selah.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon
heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him. Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of
earth; O sing praises unto
Lord; Selah.
O come, let us sing unto
Lord: let us make a joyful noise to
rock of our salvation. O sing unto
Lord a new song: sing unto
Lord, all
earth. Sing unto
Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Make a joyful noise unto
Lord, all
earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Sing unto
Lord with
harp; with
harp, and
voice of a psalm. Serve
Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Praise
Lord; for
Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
Yea, they shall sing in
ways of
Lord: for great is
glory of
Lord. They shall abundantly utter
memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
Praise ye
Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Sing unto
Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon
harp unto our God: Praise ye
Lord. Sing unto
Lord a new song, and his praise in
congregation of saints.
Let them praise his name in
dance: let them sing praises unto him with
timbrel and harp. Let
saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Sing unto
Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all
earth.
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for
majesty of
Lord, they shall cry aloud from
sea.
~ * ~
Ye shall have a song, as in
night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into
mountain of
Lord, to
mighty One of Israel.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing:
glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it,
excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see
glory of
Lord, and
excellency of our God. Then shall
lame man leap as an hart, and
tongue of
dumb sing: for in
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in
desert. And
ransomed of
Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Sing unto
Lord a new song, and his praise from
end of
earth, ye that go down to
sea, and all that is therein;
isles, and
inhabitants thereof. Let
wilderness and
cities thereof lift up their voice,
villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let
inhabitants of
rock sing, let them shout from
top of
mountains.
Sing, O ye heavens; for
Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of
earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for
Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from
Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to
end of
earth; say ye, The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for
Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. For
Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like
garden of
Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and
voice of melody.
