Written by Julie Hood

Do you love to shop as much as I do? It's even more fun when I can shop and save money, too. Here are a few of my favorite ways to save time and money when shopping.

1. Compare prices on a shopping comparison site

Findrepparttar best price (and save a lot of time surfing) by using price comparison websites like Shopping.com, PriceGrabber.com, NexTag.com, Epinions.com, MySimon.com and others. Be sure to check more than one since some sites only list certain stores.

2. Loserepparttar 108586 mall. Surfrepparttar 108587 online malls instead

Just like a regular mall, an online mall groupsrepparttar 108588 best stores all in one place. In this case, repparttar 108589 stores are all accessible from one website. Online malls are so much more efficient thanrepparttar 108590 regular mall. You save time because there's no waiting for a parking space, no fightingrepparttar 108591 crowds and no waiting in long lines. You can save more money using an online mall than a regular mall. Many online malls give you cash back rebates on each of your purchases through their store links. Rebates can be up to 25%.

3. Make sure your plastic pays you

Cash back credit cards offer another great way to save even more money on your purchases. My credit card gives us 1% back every time we use it. Rewards vary depending uponrepparttar 108592 store you're buying from and what items you purchase. Other cards provide airline miles or even let you save for college while you are shopping.

4. Clip those codes

Don't forget to use online discount codes and coupons to save even more. The best way to get these codes is to sign up for a store's e-mail newsletter. Notice ofrepparttar 108593 site's sales and specials will be sent directly to your e-mail. Another way to find codes is to use your favorite search engine and search forrepparttar 108594 site name along withrepparttar 108595 word "coupon," "discount" or "promotion code." If you are using an online mall, be sure to check it too. Most malls maintain a selection of coupons for their members.

This is a technique I teach almost every day. Yet almost no affiliate marketers are currently using it!

The trick is so interesting that you’ll learn how to actually make money off of your competitors.

Here's how it works:

Step One: Create an "Upsell."

An Upsell is simply a more expensive product or service that you offer to your current customers. One ofrepparttar best Upsells is a service that simplifies a complex process. Examples would be installing and running software, providing tutorials or providing consultation.

Here's an example: Let's say you've got a niche web site on resume writing. You promote a resume writing Ebook or audio tape program. Your commission on each sale is $20, and you've already sold 35 copies, so you've earned $700.

But even if someone buys a resume writing book, they won't necessarily get around to actually WRITING their resume! Some may procrastinate and others may just be too anxious.

So an excellent - and lucrative - Upsell would be a resume writing service. You offer this torepparttar 108585 people who buyrepparttar 108586 book. But instead of making $20 per sale, you can charge much, much more - let's say $350 for a custom resume.

Even if only 2 people purchase this Upsell, you'll make as much money on those two sales as you did selling 35 copies ofrepparttar 108587 Ebook. Nice? Yes.
