Sell Yourself Along With Your Products.

Written by James Winston

Visitors feel more comfortable buying from someone that they think they know. Put some information on your website about yourself. Make and “about us” page or a biography.

Talk about your experience, qualifications, hobbies and your goals if possible. Let your potential prospects get an idea of who you are. Doesn’t guarantee sales but it helps.

Don’t give too much personal or confidential information though. Keep it simple, brief and casual.

Visitors like to get an idea of, your sense of humor, family life and will give your product or service a try more or less giving “YOU” a chance .

Always follow your sales with a “Thank You” note to your customers and a link to your other products.

If you build a better website will the world beat a path to your door?

A flea market has a very simple layout. Find a spot, lay your products on a table or onrepparttar ground and have a flood of people passing by.

The idea is that there is not a lot of time for bells and whistles. Some very not so good looking websites are making money. Why? Traffic.

Yes, build an informative and interactive website with content, subscriptions, a guest books if you like. But, no traffic no sale. Put something on a webpage that people want in a presentable fashion and they will buy it: that’s if they see it.
