Seek Me First

Written by Joyce C. Lock

If from thence thou shalt seekrepparttar Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. But untorepparttar 129104 place whichrepparttar 129105 Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come. Glory ye in his holy name: letrepparttar 129106 heart of them rejoice that seekrepparttar 129107 Lord. Seekrepparttar 129108 Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Set your heart and your soul to seekrepparttar 129109 Lord your God; arise therefore, and build yerepparttar 129110 sanctuary ofrepparttar 129111 Lord God, to bringrepparttar 129112 ark ofrepparttar 129113 covenant ofrepparttar 129114 Lord, andrepparttar 129115 holy vessels of God, intorepparttar 129116 house that is to be built torepparttar 129117 name ofrepparttar 129118 Lord. Now therefore inrepparttar 129119 sight of all Israelrepparttar 129120 congregation ofrepparttar 129121 Lord, and inrepparttar 129122 audience of our God, keep and seek for allrepparttar 129123 commandments ofrepparttar 129124 Lord your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth beforerepparttar 129125 Lord his God. And in every work that he began inrepparttar 129126 service ofrepparttar 129127 house of God, and inrepparttar 129128 law, and inrepparttar 129129 commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Andrepparttar 129130 children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them fromrepparttar 129131 filthiness ofrepparttar 129132 heathen ofrepparttar 129133 land, to seekrepparttar 129134 Lord God of Israel, did eat. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seekrepparttar 129135 law ofrepparttar 129136 Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. His children shall seek to pleaserepparttar 129137 poor, and his hands shall restore their goods. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praiserepparttar 129138 Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

This isrepparttar 129139 generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

One thing have I desired ofrepparttar 129140 Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell inrepparttar 129141 house ofrepparttar 129142 Lord allrepparttar 129143 days of my life, to beholdrepparttar 129144 beauty ofrepparttar 129145 Lord, and to enquire in his temple. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

God looked down from heaven uponrepparttar 129146 children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God. Glory ye in his holy name: letrepparttar 129147 heart of them rejoice that seekrepparttar 129148 Lord. Seekrepparttar 129149 Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him withrepparttar 129150 whole heart.

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. Because ofrepparttar 129151 house ofrepparttar 129152 Lord our God I will seek thy good. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seekrepparttar 129153 Lord understand all things. Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieverepparttar 129154 oppressed, judgerepparttar 129155 fatherless, plead forrepparttar 129156 widow.

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign ofrepparttar 129157 people; to it shallrepparttar 129158 Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not untorepparttar 129159 Holy One of Israel, neither seekrepparttar 129160 Lord! Seek ye out ofrepparttar 129161 book ofrepparttar 129162 Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Whenrepparttar 129163 poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, Irepparttar 129164 Lord will hear them, Irepparttar 129165 God of Israel will not forsake them. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place ofrepparttar 129166 earth: I said not untorepparttar 129167 seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: Irepparttar 129168 Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Seek yerepparttar 129169 Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Run ye to and fro throughrepparttar 129170 streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek inrepparttar 129171 broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seekethrepparttar 129172 truth; and I will pardon it. And seekrepparttar 129173 peace ofrepparttar 129174 city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray untorepparttar 129175 Lord for it: for inrepparttar 129176 peace thereof shall ye have peace.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

My sheep wandered through allrepparttar 129177 mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon allrepparttar 129178 face ofrepparttar 129179 earth, and none did search or seek after them. For thus saithrepparttar 129180 Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock inrepparttar 129181 day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered inrepparttar 129182 cloudy and dark day. I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroyrepparttar 129183 fat andrepparttar 129184 strong; I will feed them with judgment.

Gratitude: The Secret Behind Creativity

Written by Nancy Marmolejo

When you think of being more creative, what comes to mind? Most people think in terms of artistic skills, but creativity manifests itself in a number of ways beyondrepparttar obvious. Picture creativity like a jet stream that flows all around us: when we step up torepparttar 129102 flow and dip our hands in, we easily grab wonderful ideas, refreshed insights and innovative actions. At times, things get in our way and we lose our contact withrepparttar 129103 creative flow. We consider ourselves in a rut, not creative, unproductive, dull. There is a simple practice that magically ignitesrepparttar 129104 creative juices and brings joy to all parts of life. It takes practice, commitment, and an open mind. It is gratitude. Giving thanks, appreciating others, acknowledgingrepparttar 129105 wonderful things we have in our lives. Gratitude is extremely powerful and can’t be activated unless consciously practiced every day of our lives. It can turn a sour mood into a joyous one, make us laugh at our own silly shortcomings, and open our hearts up to increased appreciation of all that surrounds us. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out… it just takes willingness. Dorepparttar 129106 following ritual acts daily for at least 30 days. After 30 days, you’re free to discontinue and your misery will be gladly refunded. J 1. Make a Gratitude list. Start recitingrepparttar 129107 alphabet and fill in a person, place or thing for each letter. (If you're stuck for people's names that start withrepparttar 129108 letter X, remember Xenarepparttar 129109 Warrior Princess and my friends Gil and Lily's cool kid Xiarel. He won't mind if you're grateful for him!) Making a Gratitude List is a wonderful way to shift your focus when feeling down. 2. Write thank you notes for everything. Have a wonderful client? Send her a card. Do you appreciaterepparttar 129110 service at a neighborhood store? Write a note saying so. Feeling extra artistic? Make your own card and envelope. Be creative.
