Search Engine Optimization Strategy: Website Design Techniques for Search Engine Ranking ImprovementWritten by Scott F. Geld
It is a must for you all to know, how do search engines work. Search engines are not human and they don’t scan pages as we do. They are just robots, which work on codes and mechanism implied upon them. If you have a small business website and are trying to close sales on a single visit from a customer, it is advisable that you don’t make a rich media enhancements like flash animation and excessive graphics, which result in slow page loading time and makes people run away. Established players or business, which are concerned on spreading awareness about their business rather that selling a single standoff product usually uses high media enhancements.Proper website design is key to a higher search engine ranking. Before you begin to construct your website, take time and consider design elements those are essential to both viewer and search engines. This will also contribute in determining ranking of your website. Design your web site so that every page contains “title”, “description”, and “keyword” meta-tags. These tags are basic road map for search engines. When a search engine enters your web site these tags prepare spider for what to look for on your web page. They prompt search engine for what words you feel are important and to use them in ranking process.

If you're looking at getting into a business which has potential to make you a good amount of money, look no further. Self-publishing anything from newsletters to reports to ebooks is one dynamite way to go. There are only a few things you really want to make sure you cover when getting involved in this business and we'll go over them here. The main thing to remember is you may want to write about a topic that you fancy, but you have to remember that if you're only one who wants to read about it, you probably won't make much money. Today is Information Age and people are craving more and more of it. So, if you want to cash in on this you need to write about subjects that people will buy. Let me repeat that for a little extra emphasis. You write about something that people are interested in reading and willing to spend some money on and this equals money for you! Cha-ching! Did you hear that? It's a pretty nice sound isn't it? Most people are looking for information that will help them improve their lives, be it physically, financially, mentally..you get picture. If you can find your own niche or idea that can somehow benefit and educate these people and improve their lives, then you may have a winner! Most people, especially those with a passion for a certain topic, write and then look for their audience. Let me put this as eloquently as I can...STOP! You're going wrong way! This is one of only times I would advocate making a strong u-turn in middle of roadway and heading in other direction as fast as you can. You need to find out what other people are passionate about or just plain interested or curious about, heck I'm not picky. Then you start going by these ideas and putting your topics together. Why go hunting for prospects when you can have ready made pockets of potential buyers who have already shown an interest in that topic and may be more willing to buy what you're offering. EUREKA! I think we've hit a big one this time! Another good way to go about finding hot ideas is to look through newsletters, ezines, magazines, you name it and look at ads by other people who are selling their information. Chances are, if you're seeing repeat ads or similiar topics, they may be on to something. What you need to do at this point is ask yourself, "Hey self?" "Yes?" "What can I do differently to improve on this idea or better yet, what angle can I take to make idea fresh and beneficial to my readers?" Be careful though, if you start hearing too many of those voices that might be a whole different situation. Then go grab your pen and paper or your nearest text editor and start writing these ideas down.
