Scientists Declaration about The Holy Quran and Islam-Dr. Maurice Bucaille

He is author of a best-seller, "The Bible, The Qur'ân and Science" (1976). His classical studies of scriptural languages, including Arabic, in association with his knowledge of hieroglyphics, have allowed him to hold a multidisciplinary inquiry, in which his personal contribution as a medical doctor has produced conclusive arguments. His work, "Mummies of Pharaohs - Modern Medical Investigations" (St. Martins Press, 1990), won a History Prize from Académie Française and another prize from French National Academy of Medicine.

His other works include: "What is Origin of Man" (Seghers, 1988), "Moses and Pharaoh, Hebrews in Egypt", (NTT Mediascope Inc, 1994); and "Réflexions sur le Coran" (Mohamed Talbi & Maurice Bucaille, Seghers, 1989).

After a study which lasted ten years, Dr. Maurice Bucaille addressed French Academy of Medicine in 1976 concerning existence in Qur'ân of certain statements concerning physiology and reproduction. His reason for doing that was that :

The Sky & The Earth

In Quran Allah says, “It is He who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover, his design comprehended heavens, for he gave order and perfection to seven firmaments; and of Allah things he hath perfect knowledge [2:29] in other Quranic verse he says, “Moreover, He comprehended in His design sky, and it had been as smoke” [41-11]. The earth was already created and that there was a stage of sky stages which has been as a smoke. This word of Allah which science is confirming now. If anybody wants evidence, he can go to any of telescope and see by his own eyes. He will find smoke in sky. The remaining of smoke is still contributing in formation of stars and planets. If we ask a simple man or an educated man, is smoke results of fire or fire results from smoke? Naturally, he will reply by saying that smoke results from fire. Then can any body think that planets and stars were, once upon a time, smoke? Can any body think that fire was once smoke? Nobody will think about it. But it is confirmed by holy Quran “Moreover, he comprehended in his design sky, and it had been as smoke, he said to it and to earth ‘come together, willing or unwillingly’ they said: ‘We do come (together) in willing obedience” [41-11] When earth entered process of formation, scientists say that mountains came out from depth of earth by process of volcanoes. Different mountains came into existence by activities of volcanoes which throw out materials of mountains. Examine meaning of this Quranic verse which says, “and when Earth is flattered out, and casts forth what is within it and becomes clean empty” [84:3-4] Has earth castled forth what is within it before or after its formation? In other words, mountains which have been mentioned in Quranic sign “And mountains hath he firmly fixed” [79:32] are formed by process of casting forth. The Earth castled forth mountain and then water of seas, oceans and rivers have come out of earth itself. The air with its components and rich soil all were in side earth. The Earth easted forth all these materials to its surface. Quran says “What! Are more difficult to create or heaven (above)? (God) hath constructed it: on high hath he raised its canopy and he hath given it order and perfection. It is night doth He Endow with darkness and its splendor doth he bring out (with light). And earth, moreover, Hath he extended (to a wide expander) he draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture. And mountains hath he firmly fixed” [79:32]. The above verses show abundance of boons bestowed by Allah upon those who live on earth. But after this display of abundant boons, verses which follow them states “Therefore, when there comes great, over whelming (event).
