How do you spell "Life?"

Answer: Dry Corn Flakes.

Sometimes life is like that, isn't it? Not that it is terrible or even terrific.

It's just goin' -- and that's point!

I really don't know what you call these times. Maybe you could call them "dry cereal days."

True confession: I'm not an expert in getting through these "in between" days. But like you, I try to make it!

Here are some things we can try together!

ADJUST YOUR GLASSES!

Glasses? Did you say, "Glasses?" Sure. But I don't mean glasses *outside* of your head. I mean glasses *inside* your head.

My wife has said so many times, "This too shall pass!" And most of time it is true.

For most of us "dry times" will pass. They won't last forever. And seeing that can help. Just simple realization ... or even affirmation ... that "This too shall pass!" can help us take one more step in right direction.

Perspective. So much of life involves perspective. Having this perspective during these times can help.

But it also helps to ...

ADJUST YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

During dry times I tend not to produce as much as I would like to -- or even what I am capable of. My guess is you don't either.

I think we have two choices during this "phase." We can become frustrated. That's one choice.

Or, we can "adjust and accept." It is almost like giving myself permission to not be king of hill for a bit! I say: "Lee, it is okay to run slower and not quite as well for a while! It really is okay. You are not hurting anyone or your job. You're just not flyin' high at moment."

And key word here is ... "accept." You decide to accept this for moment. Not forever. But for moment.

CREATE DIVERSIONS!

Unfortunately, many people don't spend much time in checking out a company before joining. They may see an ad or hear about an opportunity to financial freedom and simply sign-up, get a distributor's kit, buy products, and try to learn how to promote that opportunity.

If after a month or two they haven't signed up a good following, are not making a few thousand dollars they simply jump on to another MLM opportunity repeating same in-effective process or they quit MLM all together blaming industry for not working. Is it that MLM does not work? Absolutely not! Their approach to it did work, because they are doing it backwards. If in deed, they took time to do due diligence, start with a solid MLM company, applied principles necessary for achieving success with time they would begin to see results.

Surely if you were buying a franchised business you'd take time to investigate company, it's products/services, and get to know some of other franchises and so on. The same should be true in choosing an MLM or any other type of business for that matter.

There are a greater number of legitimate MLM companies with solid integrity and excellent credentials on and off-line, that offer you opportunity to earn a very good, solid residual income. These are companies you should be looking for.

Because there are also a lot of "get-rich-quick-schemes", hype and simply fly-by-night operations out there, it is crucial that you know how to choose a company wisely.

Here are some pointers in when choosing an MLM company:

* Has company been around for a number of years?

* Does company have an excellent reputation in MLM industry?

* Does their website provide visible contact information?

* Do they offer testimonials of satisfied customers and/or successful distributors?

* Does company offer a business that can be easily duplicated - learn and build sucessfully by others?

* Do they provide real time stats and online payment?

* Does company track off-line sales if you are promoting off-line?

* Do they meet criterion of a legitimate MLM company?

* Are products offered in high demand?
