Had you lived 100 years ago, it would have been much harder for you (practically impossible) to earn your own money from home as a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia sufferer.

BUT!!!

Today, we Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia sufferers are lucky enough to live inrepparttar age ofrepparttar 116658 Internet - where knowledge is power. Information, information, information. THAT's what people want.

So how does that apply to you?

Well, as I wrote inrepparttar 116659 'Focus Your Light: Earning Money From Home When You Have CFS/FM' article in Issue #001, you live in a day and age where you have great opportunities to work from home using your computer andrepparttar 116660 Internet.

As I wrote in that article, everyone knows something about something...

...including YOU!

--------SIDE NOTE-------- If you haven't readrepparttar 116661 Focus Your Light: Earning Money From Home When You Have CFS/FM' article, then I thoroughly recommend that you take a look at it.

You can check it out in Issue #001 here:

--------SIDE NOTE--------

Find a topic that you LOVE (or at least are passionate about). Something that you find INTERESTING. Then your 'work' will become 'play' because it will be on a topic that you enjoy!

So what are you going to do once you've found your topic?

You start your own money-making website.

**Claire watches as everyone runs and hides.**

Come back!

It's not as scary as you might think! I wouldn't suggest it otherwise! At least give me a chance to explain!

Running your own website gives you THE BEST chance of making AS MUCH money as you want.

Why?

Because one of your website's primary jobs is to ATTRACT VISITORS - lots of them. And once you've done that, all YOU have to do is choose how you will 'monetize' it!

**I'll be explainingrepparttar 116662 different ways that you can make money from your website in later issues.**

What's more, you can work when you want, for how long you want, wherever you want!

Okay, now there are quite a few myths about running your own website that I'd like to put straight at this point...

--- MYTH 1. Websites are expensive.

WRONG! Websites can be as cheap or as expensive to create and run as you want them to be!

A Word of Advice for the Beginning Crafter

A Word of Advice for a Beginning Crafter By Eileen Bergen http://www.theartfulcrafter.com

Even though my site is fairly new, I have been getting letters from crafters looking for advice on how to get started selling their wares. I thought that this letter and my answer would be of interest to anyone beginning a new home business.

This is an example:

I would like to get started selling crafts to make some extra money, but I don’t have a lot of it to spend. I can sew a little. What isrepparttar best way I can make some money quickly?

Betsy by e-mail

Dear Betsy,

I have a little bit of bad news for you. Getting started in any business, crafting or otherwise, is not something that can be done quickly or cheaply.

First let’s look atrepparttar 116657 product you want to make. You say you know how to sew, but that really does not give me enough information. But assuming you have good sewing skills, what is it that you plan to make? Is it a hand appliquéd vest or a hand made hot pad.

The truth is thatrepparttar 116658 market for each is vastly different and that some things are worth much more than others. If you are serious about getting a business going, you must start with a quality product that people will pay a nice markup for. Among other things, this means using good quality materials and unique or original ideas.

You can get many patterns for free onrepparttar 116659 Internet and in magazines, but I believe they are only starting points. The best patterns will not be given away for free. If you are going to start with a free pattern, you have to do something to make it different - to make it your own. You must have something good to sell.
